Not difficult to do.
Not difficult to do.
The K series is awesome. Much better than these new 1.5T shitboxes they’re putting in everything.
Last time I checked, the previous generation Civic’s platform was one of the worst of all time (for Civics) - not “pretty good”. That Acura only heavily refreshed (visually only) the ILX on a platform that was discontinued by Honda over 2 years ago shows just how little Acura really cares about its sedans.
Are you under the impression that the rest of the country is the rust belt?
On one hand, it’s car culture heaven. And on the other hand, it has the most restrictive car regulations/laws in the country. I’m perfectly content not living there.
Came for the laughs. Article did not disappoint.
No, they’re not manuals unless you’re operating the clutch directly. Which couldn’t be further from the truth for any transmission that change gears on it’s own.
You’re not shifting the gears manually. You’re telling the transmission to change gears. Thus, automatic.
Auto.
Whether it sucks or not, they are. Nothing difficult to understand here.
Michael is not the 3rd strongest storm to hit the continental US. Not even close. Measured barometric pressure for an intensity ranking hardly means strongest/most powerful. Andrew in ‘92 was considerably more powerful. Don’t get me wrong, it was a strong storm, but trying to classify it in the top 5 (or possibly…
With either front fascia, the 2019s’ styling is a step backwards.
Hurricane Michael was hardly “unprecedented”.
This is a really bad idea. My owner’s manual says specifically not to lug the engine around at low rpm (> 2000) when in a high gear. And 20 mph in 4th gear (which is good for 125 mph) definitely fits that scenario. Horrible idea.
So happy for Kimi to finally get a win! He’s had such bad luck this season.
You’re trying to tell me that in the process of setting a two way record of over 280 mph, the car gained no speed for almost half a mile? Makes no sense, unless the section of roadway at that point wasn’t “suitable” for higher (lol, more like insane) speed.
Among the records set that day are the top speed on a public road at 284.55 mph, doing 0 to 400 and back to 0 kph (that’s 248.5 mph) in 33.29 seconds, fastest flying mile on a public road at 276.36 mph, and the fastest flying kilometer on a public road at 276.9 mph.
“In an interview with Top Gear, Jean-Pierre Diernaz, one of Nissan’s marketing guys in Europe, said the company’s involvement in Formula E could help inspire the next generation of sports cars.”
Maybe I should have said older. Japanese cars from the late 90s are tough as nails and require little upkeep. I’ve owned a GSR continuously for over 19 years, so that’s my experience FWIW.
They’re never going to get cheap. And there’s no reason they should. In this environment of bloated curb weights and excessive crash regulation, cars like this won’t happen again.
