When the Supra Turbo debuted, it’s MSRP was below $40k.  Where are you coming up with $60k?  Not true at all.

Umm, what? The S2000 was a sales success. It was never intended to be a permanent addition to the Honda line up and was given a major revision (AP2) because it was so successful.

Honestly, at this point I no longer look forward to BMW new car debuts.  At this point I dread them.

Sure, but everything being equal, the engine with more cylinders will ALWAYS* be more refined. (*talking about even number cylinder engines :-P).

It’s not dumb. The 4 cylinders could put out 1000 hp for all I care. Their engine note sounds horrible, and they require extensive balancing to reduce vibration. The fewer the cylinders, the less refined the powerplant.

That is RWD, since apparently that’s not even a sure thing with BMW anymore.
