Great article. This is truly horrifying.

That’s all well and good. But don’t call your cars The Ultimate Driving Machine.
They can claim whatever they want, but as long as they keep making the cars larger, heavier, and more isolated...they’re full of it.
What a mess. They’re turning the 911 into a fat cow.
Lol, yeah if it were so simple then it’d probably be easy to prove that CO2 is the cause of all those woes. Sadly it’s far from that, and relying on half-assed computer “models” isn’t science. “So much” additional CO2? Do you even realize how little of an increase we’re talking about? To think that any of the alarmist…
When the Supra Turbo debuted, it’s MSRP was below $40k. Where are you coming up with $60k? Not true at all.
Umm, what? The S2000 was a sales success. It was never intended to be a permanent addition to the Honda line up and was given a major revision (AP2) because it was so successful.
And California is just one small part of the planet.
Wholeheartedly agree.
“We ALREADY are experiencing worsening storms, droughts, wildfires etc. due to climate change. “
Fear mongering on Monday morning is always fun.
THAT, is how a f*cking hypercar (or anything over $150k) is supposed to sound. None of that wet fart being sucked up by a vacuum noise!
Does Toyota currently have another Supra level sports car that they sell in like 10 varieties? Because Chevy does, so...
I can’t wait to go to the dealership and be turned down for a test drive, probably because “this car is too special” for such things.
numb isolated fake engine sound simulating cars aren’t for everyone.
Honestly, at this point I no longer look forward to BMW new car debuts. At this point I dread them.
Sure, but everything being equal, the engine with more cylinders will ALWAYS* be more refined. (*talking about even number cylinder engines :-P).
It’s not dumb. The 4 cylinders could put out 1000 hp for all I care. Their engine note sounds horrible, and they require extensive balancing to reduce vibration. The fewer the cylinders, the less refined the powerplant.
That is RWD, since apparently that’s not even a sure thing with BMW anymore.
Sad news. Especially since I can’t stand BMW’s idiotic shifter.
