“Later there might be some additional news on engine development,” and Tada did say this: “One of the joys of launching a sports car is getting the initial model out, and then keeping it fresh with regular updates.” Holy crap he just trolled the hell out of FRS/BRZ fans.

It would almost definitely look better than it does now.

Why doesn’t Porsche just take the 919 to the same 8 mile oval test course that “Oldsmobile” did?

Yeah a water pump is one part I would not go cheap on, ever.

3194 lb Cayman?  Did he check to see if it’s tires were inflated with lead shot?  Because that’s got to be the heaviest Cayman on the planet.

One could argue very strongly that last weekend Ferrari’s team strategy for him f*cked him over.  He was following their orders and it completely ruined his tires.

I feel like saying that his performance has dropped off is a bit of BS. In my eyes he’s the best “2nd man” on any of the top teams. His luck has been horrible and Ferrari’s race strategy for him usually sucks.

I found room for a spare set of wheels/tires in a tiny NYC apartment.  You just have to be creative...and enjoy the ever present smell of rubber.

How exactly is a brand new model “neglect”?

Snow tires beg to differ.

I’m happy it exists. Every new sports car is a win for us enthusiasts.

Nonetheless, wonderful write up!

The Vanquish’s taillights were borrowed from a Kia.

If the pop up headlights work, why are they exposed in every frontal photo?  That gave me the impression they were stuck.  (only down in one side profile shot).

I thought that was odd as well.

Apparently not track worthiness though?  I’ve never had my PSS’s overheat on track.  Haven’t really heard great stuff about the P4S’s; doubt they’ll be my next tire.

Probably because 95% of these car owners never go onto a race track and compete in TIMED competition.  So who cares if you’re 0.3 seconds slower.  FYI Car and Driver said the autobox option for the ZR1 sucks.

Did you really just call the Corvette more GT than this fat roadster? Corvette at least has 3 pedals. This...won’t, because BMW likes to tell people what they want.

It looks heavy.  I thought developing a new Z4 from the ground up was intentionally done to make it lightweight again (or at least lightER) and less of a luxo-GT cruiser.  This looks like neither.

That’s easily avoided if you don’t own a 4 door vehicle.  I own 4 doors, but that’s the summation from my 2 vehicles.
