And you’re aware that the Supra has a sub 100 inch wheel base right? And no rear seats. Dimensionally it’s smaller than the BRZ. We already know it’s size, and it’s way smaller than the 3 Series.

R35's price in 2007 is not equal to the R35's price today. The Supra is being based off BMW’s budget sports car platform. It’s not going to out perform the BMW M2 so to think it’s going to cost almost double that vehicle is hilarious. Unless it weighs less than 3000 lb thanks to some fancy (expensive) lightweight…
I somewhat see your point. However in many cases the deck is stacked against the manual equipped trim ever doing well. HR-V for example only offered stick with FWD. Ditto the Mazda CX-5 (a similar vehicle).
What in this article remotely suggests anything close to 400 hp?
Delusional. There’s no basis for the car to cost that much. Maybe if it were packing a BMW TT V8...
What’s your point? A used C6 ZR1 or Z06 will destroy the new Supra around a race track, and costs less.
different price bracket.
The modern BMW 3 Series is freaking huge. It’s large sedan. The Supra is a tiny coupe.
It’s 1000 lb overweight, and not available with a manual. But sure, otherwise...perfect. -_-
Likewise.
I truly wonder who is mostly at fault, the dealerships or the buyers. Dealerships don’t stock manual transmission cars. So when a prospective buyer shows up, unless they “really” want a manual transmission, they’re usually willing to compromise and get the auto if it means they walk out with a car that very day. A…
“This backs information recently leaked onto the web that claimed that the Supra will weigh 1496kg, making it 250kg heavier than the GT86 and 14kg lighter than the fourth-generation Supra, which went out of production in 2002. This would also make the car 14kg lighter than a PDK-equipped Porsche 911 Carrera S, with…
2006, first year! And no you definitely would not fit, with a stock seat at least. I’m 6'2" and its, ahem, pretty tight. Extremely so with a helmet.
All very nice. The FoST bang for the buck is hard to ignore, especially the sales Ford often has for them.
I feel like Force India and Williams have really nose dived this year. Just so, so bad.
If it were 78 in my house to be comfortable I’d have to remove my skin. Haha, that’s way too warm for me. Above 75 and I won’t even be wearing a shirt anymore.
I would imagine that the bigger problem is the fake “LSD” that just drags the brakes to control front wheel spin in turns? I know Ford offers a Quaife LSD as a dealer installed option, but that’s not cheap. (granted, most tracks don’t have more than 1-2 tight, sub 40 mph turns).
Solid points all around. I think it’s socially irresponsible to keep commercial buildings cooled to 70° in the summer when 75° would probably suffice if wearing shorts were business socially acceptable.
If you’ve got a problem with it move somewhere cooler, and/or don’t support corporations that maintain facilities in unsustainable environments. You know, like 75% of the southwest.
More like, an overweight (for it’s size) FWD imbalanced car isn’t meant for the track. My S2000, BRZ, GS-R and Cayman have never had overheating problems on track.
