Well done, hahaha.

A retractable hardtop made the Z4 fat and more a baby SL than a sporty roadster. If you want an isolated convertible cruiser there are plenty of options.

Nothing says old school BMW like an automatic transmission.

I’m a bit tight in my 987 and I’m 6'2. Headroom isn’t the problem though, leg room.

How old are you? I’ve owned a 987 for almost 5 years and have no problems DD’ing it, taking it on long drives, or getting into/out of it. And I’ve had 2 knee surgeries. This is a very easy car to DD.

Cayman GTS is without a doubt faster around a race track than a 911 as well.

Nah, looks awesome!

Finally!

Probably related to the speed rating of the tires.

Hit the house cat with a closed fist and see how that goes.

As certain as you can be about something millions of years old, especially recreating/simulating atmospheric conditions at the time, isn’t really THAT certain.

Interesting information, to be sure. But to put the blame on CO2, then or now, is shaky at best.

Not necessarily. When the greenies realize there are considerably worse things in the world (specifically the air) than CO2 emissions then this obsession will end.

Seems pretty easy to me. Just sell the “less fun” versions of the cars in CA (and it’s followers). The more sporting, less efficient ones, not.

And yet almost all of the increased oil production was on private land. From your own Forbes article:

Damn right we deserve the best economy in years. You’re welcome.

When the economy does well fuel prices will rise. You can’t have it both ways. Do you have a 401(k)? If so that gain is more than offsetting the increased fuel costs.

Are you freaking high? Trump is more friendly towards energy development within the US than any other recent president. And that’s bad for Russia. Oil prices will level out again once shale oil production ramps up, since it’s again financially viable.

And we’re over here laughing at you letting your government rape you financially via excessive petrol taxes.

Throttle response with Sport mode activated is much better. It should be the default (and only IMO) setting for throttle response in a Porsche sports car. Unfortunately you have to press the button every time you drive the car, so I spend most of my time not in sport mode.
