Jackasses can’t leave well enough alone, can they?
Jackasses can’t leave well enough alone, can they?
If the Urus had a V12, then I’d say sure. But a boring, me too, twin turbo V8? Nah. Boring. Next.
Sorry but no, they sold out. Nobody is gonna crane their neck to catch a glimpse of this Lamborghini. The styling isn’t that remarkable. And a twin turbo V8? Snooze. Boring. So very unremarkable. Which is not what Lamborghini is about.
Um, hydro power is a huge disruption for the environment around it. And is very location dependent. Not like Nebraska could “learn a thing or two” from Quebec, unfortunately.
Another forgettable Lincoln. The Conti should come standard with the 400 hp engine. Allowing lesser engine options makes it too similar to the MKZ (that’s the other sedan right? Their naming is so dumb). IMO if they’re going for American luxury it should have a V8 engine but I digress.
I’m not sad about this because any LFA “successor” would have, as the author mentioned, turbos and/or hybrid junk, and rev nowhere near 9000 rpm. And probably weight 4000 lb. None of which interests me, (even if I had the money, which I don’t).
OMG you are just not getting it.
It’s amazing how your entire post has almost nothing to do with climate change. Human created environmenta problems? Well yes, I wholeheartedly agree with that.
Huh? I’m talking purely about putting an aftermarket turbo, running a light boost setting on a stock K20A. Maybe my previous comment wasn’t clear.
Your government excuse is bullshit. If high revving was such a hindrance you wouldn’t think that Ford’s Coyote V8 engine would redline at 7500.
You kidding? An aftermarket turbo slapped onto a K20A running similar boost would kick the K20C1's (new CTR engine) butt in power output. The K20C1 engine would have been impressive 15 years ago. Not in 2018.
Oh come on man, you’re giving them such a pass. They stopped building small cars. Weight has little to do with it. Reduce dimensions and the weight will follow. And please, the ol’ emissions excuse for no high revving engines? The current Mustang GT’s Coyote V8's redline is 7500 rpm. 1000 rpm higher than the…
Actions speak louder than words and in the case of Acura, I’ll believe it when I see it. In the meantime I won’t be holding my breath.
What’s with the aggressive front with the HUGE (partially fake) grilles? Isn’t that basically the opposite of what Avalon owners would want?
I’ve believed in climate change since it became a (notable) issue around the turn of the century. Though I haven’t considered the man-made contribution to be much of a threat since around 2005.
Exactly, trying to blame climate change for even part of their water problems is a good way to remove credibility.
Yeah i would have thought that as well.
They gave it up with the TT V6 models. Neither that engine or the I6 were developed in house by AMG, so it’s not a stretch to come to that conclusion.
My apologies, you are correct. Thanks for righting me!
So much for one man one engine...
