While each route does have a sex scene, this really isn’t the kind of visual novel you play for the porn. We’re talking like, just a few minutes of explicit sex in a 40+ hour, story heavy visual novel.

What do you mean? There’s been no lack of Nomura getting his fingers in tons of games these past few years.

It seems to have replaced the original listing on GOG. Presumably, if you already own the game you get access to the “Enhanced” update. Probably would’ve worked the same way if this had been for SS2.

According to other sources, this is just going to be a special. Might be a prologue or side story like, like the one for God Eater or the Zestiria special.

He’s definitely a party member. You can see him escaping the boulder in the TGS trailer with the rest of the cast in-costume.

It’ll be sold later, no doubt. Or unlockable, with their in-game money system.

At the very least, this article reminded me that the pre-rendered cutscenes actually look pretty good.

Unless it’s Ryu apparently, who came in 2nd on poll.

Arise was not in-continuity with anything else. It’s basically a rebooted origin story.

Right? Loved how AE looked. The character designs made the transition to 3D extremely well. I would love to see the new game use 3D models like that (while still keeping the usual 2D portraits for the conversation/dialogue-heavy scenes like AE did).

Tangrowth has been around since Gen4. I’ve never thought it was anything too special, but it is, at least, more useful than Tangela.

It sure does, doesn’t it? I always did wonder if the guys at Blizzard were familiar with the original 80’s toyline.

A stylistic choice on the artists part.

There was a 360 game that made its way West too (courtesy of Atlus), Zouids Assault. It was interesting, but mediocre at best.

Japan still has model kits coming out as well as the occasional manga, but it’s definitely not as popular as it once was.

Yes, it’s PSTV compatible.

Well, color me surprised. I assume Canadians only have access to the non-Hulu-embedded videos?

Actually, they just made the “announcement” that they plan to start pursuing more international rights this past spring. So it’s really only been a few months.

Funimation is US-centric. Most (but not all) of the videos on their site are merely Hulu embeds. As a US-based company, they rarely acquire streaming rights for other regions. They have stated their intention to do so, but I don’t think anything has come from that yet.

I’m mildly optimistic, since they are having the mangaka write the new anime ending. Then again, that’s the same things that happened with Tokyo Ghoul’s 2nd season, and a lot of people think that was a train-wreck.
