Yeah I'm eagerly awaiting their release of Crest/Banner too, as well as Outlaw Star. hopefully we don't have to wait too much longer.

I understand where you're coming from, but that set came out long before they released Roberta's Blood Trail. With RBT being an OVA series, this set *is* technically a "complete set"... of the Black Lagoon TV series.

Aside from the Dragon Boxes, there really isn't a release of DBZ that could be considered "perfect."

Its not the local publishers, its the Japanese. Basically, the licenses to Eva TV, Death and Rebirth, and The End of Evangelion are on lock-down until the new movie series is complete. We won't see any of those re-released in the US until after 4.o is out. Why they felt this was necessary is anyone's guess.

2 out of 3 is a winner in my book.

While I agree with you, I think you missed the point of what he/she said, that if you had only watched the popular, well-known shows like Bebop, the more obscure otaku references would fly over your head.

I understand, as I feel the same way. I respect Robotech's legacy and what it did for anime in the US (and elsewhere). Though it doesn't hold any nostalgic value for me and I generally dislike the heavily-edited retro dubs of old I certainly don't harbor any ill-will towards the series.

Calling all Space Battleship Yamato and Star Blazers fans! You can preorder the live-action movie BD+DVD combo pack for a mere $9.96 on Amazon.

Maybe some of it. ADV sub-licensed it from HG. As the distributor and dub studio ADV would've seen the biggest cut of the profits from the uncut Macross release, but HG at least got a little bit.

Hmm, yeah I've heard the MP wasn't very good. There were a few mediocre alternate costumes for single-player though, but I suppose if I really wanted them, and got the game cheap enough, it would still cost me less than $30 to buy them separately.

Theres also a GOTY edition of Tomb Raider for PS360 coming out the same day as the Definitive Edition for $30.

That was a million times better than Dragonball Evolution.

Seeing as how he was looking for the PS4 version of Just Dance, he may not have had an Xbox One to play Dead Rising 3 on...

Dat neck. I'm not the only one seeing this right?

Well, not exactly. Code Geass Season 1 started on Adult Swim 1.5 years after its JP premiere. CG R2 was about 7 months later. The gap between FMA:B's JP premiere and its Adult Swim premiere was about 10 months.

No, Kotaku always starts these lists at the beginning of a consoles lifecycle and continuously updates them over the years as more games come out.

Theres nothing wrong with wanting it on more consoles. Thats perfectly fine. What we're taking issue with your "my way or the highway" mentality. The idea that if its not going to be multiplat then it shouldn't exist at all.

While I agree that a multiplatform release would be ideal, that would only happen if Sega themselves decided to do Shenmue 3. But as this article points out, thats not likely to happen.

I've got quite a load of games going right now. Although a lot of these games I bought awhile ago, dropped for a bit, and am now trying to finish. I also just bought an N64, so I'm catching up on some really old stuff.

lol yeah, a big one. Yasuomi Uemetsu, creator of Mezzo and Kite, is creator, director and character designer of Wizard Barristers.
