most hold ups in the game industry are pragmatic and banal. gamers have imaginations though and like to imagine conspiracies.

poor babies
I don’t like the copyright being declined because the imagery was generated by ‘not a human’ because it actively overlooks the human agency that goes into priming these tools with stolen art. A human made this image with a tool, a human stole art to create the tool.
dealing with focus entertainment is an unpleasant experience. Genuinely noxious people captaining that ship. French publisher, not Russian, btw, seems worth noting to understand what their motivation might be.
terry was the best of us
there’s always a bigger gotcha and this one is the biggest of all
Ursula K Le Guin said that? Hah, was just telling a friend earlier was always uneasy reading Harry Potter in school with how callous the world was. Reading more of Le Guin’s work is an oversight i need to correct.
I’m sorry you had to play this for your job. Hopefully we as a society can all mature past being absolute bores with this childish obsession with this dumb wizard world, read some other books, build & play in some new magical settings that actually compel & are coherent & have something meaningful to say.
as a dev i am a big fan of how Epic supports devs in its ecosystem. as close as anything in this industry that ‘shares the wealth’ with the game making community. people cry about the exclusivity but its just a marketplace/launcher on your desktop at the end of the day. those agreements have massively benefitted the…
his is nothing new for Valve’s ecosystem. The actual humans who work to resolve this stuff on Valve's end are not responsive in any way. Absolutely neglect of their partners is how they do business.
Just another great day being a dev in Steam’s ecosystem, where angry fans can torpedo your business because Valve thinks these are swell features.
another aspirational Smash-killer smashed on the crucible of Smash
we need to start distinguishing between graphics and art direction.
Steam forums & its users are the worst, every dev & publisher i’ve worked at wishes they could just turn them off for their games in favour of directing players to their own channels but Valve makes you take them (& the rampant bigotry of Valve’s message board users theirin).
please someone think of the children (who aren’t supposed to be playing this game)
Animorphs 4 life, yo!
gosh, what happened to the bad-faith gotcha guys in my replies intent on prying out my personal politics? it’s like they never existed! did they ever exist at all or did they come to their senses and delete their nonsense? whatever it was, nothing of value was lost!😏
A’ight, i see you’re the reasonable sort and not needlessly stubborn at all
It was foolish, dude. Doesn’t mean i think he needs to suffer consequences for it. In any case a teacher in such a climate cant be blamed for having a reasonable fear of gun violence.
whether you or Tatsumaki is correct depends on whether the incident occurs in the United States or not
