I attribute a lot more wrath and bitterness to the boycott thing.

Not that they don’t deserve better pay, but profit sharing for a week’s contribution to multiyear projects will always be a hard sell. Perhaps if we lived in a world where VA name recognition helped sell a game, but even a prolific voice actor like Jennifer Hale isn’t widely known enough to accomplish that.
