The paging Dr. Faggot joke is still how guys talk to each other, Drew. You know it and I know it. We just can’t say it in public anymore, but we all know its still how people talk. Which should be okay.

This is that one article to keep you thinking that.
Kudos to Gizmodo for giving this issue a serious examination. I admit that I would have predicted a Gawker site to participate in the very same hide-newsworthy-conservative-subjects editorializing that apparently Facebook did. Thanks for proving me wrong.
The government doesn’t need to be involved for censorship to take place. This has little to do with freedom of speech. You’re playing semantics at this point when everyone knows what’s going on, despite people using different words.
Guilt by association is an incredibly effective tactic and is exactly what’s going on here. Find a ‘group’ on the internet who’s membership is predicated entirely on an individual deciding to associate with it or not, and then blame the entire group for that individual’s behavior. Act like the group needs to somehow…
This is false, censorship can come from a number of different parties, government censorship is just the most egregious, especially when in places like the US where there are laws against prior restraint
Thats why I stay out of this crap. Anyone who actually want to have an actual discussion that isn’t inflammatory quickly has their comments buried under the louder angrier ones.
This article does a fantastic job of trying to force any discussion of censorship into 1 of two camps, turbo harassment neck-beards or the enlightened ones. I dont think that was specifically your goal but its definitely the tone of the article.
The easy answer is GamerGate, the all-too-familiar amorphous group of gamers who organized in summer 2014 after game designer Zoe Quinn’s sex life was made public and eventually ended up at “ethics in games journalism.”
This shit is bad for all sides of the argument and all people involved. I’m strongly agaisnt removal of content or altering content during localizations. I bought Fire Emblem Fates, but I canceled my Bravely Second preorder (mostly for altered endings and editing the art book).
So... They build this medium duty truck into a limo, but neglect to install something that just about every fire truck around here has?
These people are so stupid! incompetent!! they made such a bad deal with the dealership, a terrible stupid deal, they got 2WD and summer tires, Trump is the master of the deal, he’d get 4WD and two sets of tires and make the dealership pay to swap them!!
with all the money being spent on this big government we can’t afford some snow tires? If Trump were president we’d have tremendous snow tires and he’d make the Canadian’s pay for them!
But he’s friends with people who don’t agree with my political point of view. Thats just wrong I have to call him names to make myself feel better about my point of view.
she sounds ugly
Ohh Drew, I realize it’s Friday afternoon and Christmas is next week, and squeezing one more article into this pay period is good hustle. But really you could have just done another funbag or used something funny your kid said as the basis instead of this vapid article about Brady.
My, my, this Brady dude has gotten right on top of you, hasn’t he? Chill. He’s a quarterback, not an op/ed columnist.
Brady got that hat from Kraft why are you not harping on Kraft.... Just because you don’t like Trump means Brady shouldn’t and if he doesn’t denounce him he is dumb?? That’s your theory? I’m not voting for Trump many people are to each their own to call them dumb belittles you
Luckily his job is an NFL quarterback where you can clearly be a hilarious moron. Unfortunately, you are not hilarious at this point.
