Getting to a point where it’s fine for us to pick and choose who gets to survive. Can’t afford insurance? From Texas? California? Some state with the perception of being against the idealogy you orgasm over? Then, dohoho - who cares if they die, right?

The ‘humanity’ in the country is a very finite quality, a very

(Kinja is being stupid)

“Why are they in space? There’s no reason for them to be in space!”
Is there any canon explanation as to why the characters always fight clones of themselves whenever they go on missions?”

Some people like to make a big show out of going to McDonalds every day and complaining that the food wasn’t as good as that one time they had that $200 steak.

Most of them aren’t original, cool, or funny.

Nintendo’s been dying since the 90's, dont’cha know?? (lol)

I didn’t like my tournament experiences and I’ve given up. Hopefully it’s better for other people. Hopefully whoever has gone in my place has helped make it a positive experience.

The ‘average person’ either doesn’t care, or is already caught in this hole.

No Man’s Sky: Out of Early Access!

Mr. 15% Gamer, who thinks he’s better than his reader base. I don’t care for him, and I would love to call him douchebag and a bully to his face.

I’m in a position where if I fail to invest in certain things very soon, my life will degrade to ruin or worse in the not-distant future. Call it a consequence for bad choices if you will, but I need to focus on the things I can do now, than what I should have done.

I basically need all the money I can get. The water

If Valve wants to chase and print money, that’s fine. I just wish they aimed a little higher and went back to making memorable games. Oh well! Make that another thing sacrificed to the gods of short term profit.

We have descended closer to TF2 ‘hat’ territory, and I’m totally fine with that!

My train of thought wanders and flies, a lot. Forgive me.

>I’ve honestly never once heard or read anyone seriously refer to taxes as any form of charity, so that’s new to me.

It was from Rush Limbaugh. So I have about 99% confirmed that you are not Rush Limbaugh. :)

> I wouldn’t give a shit because that was the point of the auction.

Well. I would be worried if that item was sold under a certain amount and flipped for that much, since it meant that someone along the line possibly failed terribly at appraising the item.

But that’s aside, you’re doing good work. Thank you.

I couldn’t even split it by 50 / 50. More like 10 / 90 (or less) my way, and I’d consider very carefully where it would go. I have things to pay. :(

Nothing stopping Thrift Store Dude from finding out where to best donate something, if that’s what he decides to do. It also doesn’t need to be ALL that he made from his Ebay sale.

(It also doesn’t need to be anything, but it by no means has to be ALL of the money right back to the DAV.)

I know that I wouldn’t give away

> What about my post would lead you to believe I was trying to pass taxes off as donations to charity? Who has even mentioned taxes and what do they have to do with the topic at hand?

I haven’t believed it yet, I’m just asking. What would lead me to ask, is that I’ve heard at least one prominent conservative type

> I don’t want to donate $1 for the children’s hospital when I buy something at a fast food chain.

Same, though it’s because I barely trust fast food places to not outright poison me (quickly). How do I know exactly how much of that dollar isn’t wasted or just circles around to a shell company?

> I give a good chunk

Don’t worry. He doesn’t have to do a thing. Doesn’t need to give above the minimum to anyone for anything ever. Once everyone adapts this mindset, then the weak in society can die off and the rest of us can be truly successful and happy. (/s - kind of, I honestly suspect a lot of people think this way, but won’t

You’ll get there someday, don’t worry.
