They don’t want to give up power. Giving up power means falling behind, and possibly all it takes to fall behind is not doing what the other guy is doing to get ahead.

I -just- started playing Persona 3, for the first time like a few days ago, and this is great.

Also my first time in the Persona series. I’m eventually going to finish it. Play through 4, and get to 5.
