ECR is my home track! This was a Toyota run event, but I’m an instructor with ECR and drive my 2014 BRZ there all the time (I’ve ordered a 2022 already).

Yeah, I missed the six inches part, makes more sense that you don’t fit at 6'6". Hopefully the new Z is big enough for you since you’re definitely not fitting in the Miata or Supra if you don’t fit in the 86.

I don’t think it’ll be a concern, out of the 2 dozen guys I know locally who autox and/or track them, there haven’t been any issues with the injectors. I’ve got the fewest miles in the group with 75k, the highest mileage is about 160k in the core group with 2013-2015's (there are a couple newer cars at the events,

Mine was new enough to miss the valve spring issue (only effected the early cars 2013 and very early 2014's), two of my cohorts had their 2013's repaired under warranty. I haven’t had any injection system issues, and there are tools but my mechanic friend has a technique for doing that other stuff that doesn’t require

Yes, but the Z is late to the party and the Supra isn’t new anymore (and is a bit forgettable).

That’s surprising, I’m 6' and 265lbs and wear a size 12 shoe and I fit in my BRZ with a helmet on. The seat can be raised and lowered (not a ton but there’s a significant difference between the highest and lowest settings, I don’t think I’d fit if it was in the highest setting).

The standard package if track ready, you just put on track pads and tires and drive. The calipers are big enough to work under track conditions and the car has a LSD (torsen) as standard equipment.

I’ve done just about anything to the old 86 as you could imagine doing (I’ve got a group of friends and we all track and autox them and work on them together).

On the same tires, the 86 is faster on many tracks than the WRX (I traded a 2010 WRX for a 2014BRZ and put in an order for a 2022 BRZ). The 86 carries so much more speed into and out of the corners that the acceleration of the turbo motor can’t make up the difference. Even when the WRX is faster, it’s so much less fun

Pilot sport 4's are not track tires, you can use them at the track but they’re not meant for it and their grip level isn’t high enough at that price point. Some people can’t give up the power, and if you’re just talking about those giant tracks the power is a bigger issue. I mainly run at Eagle’s Canyon Raceway and

They started doing that back in 2017 when the dip was worse (of course the lower gearing of the 2017+ made the dip a non-issue, but people still complain).

C6 tires cost 3x 86 tires. I’ve been doing 30-35 trackdays a year the last 4 years (I’m an instructor with half a dozen clubs) in my 2014BRZ (ordered a 2022). The same type of tires on a C6 are about three times the cost, so a trackday in my car runs $120-$150 with gas and consumables (gas and tires are close and

I’m an instructor at both the local tracks (Eagle’s Canyon Raceway and Motorsports Ranch Cresson), I’ve got stories for days.

That’s usually because the light burnt out.

The difference is that this round of automation isn’t focused on one specific sector or type of job. Traditional robots are quickly getting to the sophistication level to be able to do any physical job that is performed by a human and is repetitive.

That’s much higher for the average, a quick google search put long-haul trucking at about $30/hr or $60k annually on average (which is pretty good for a job that doesn’t require a college degree and competitive with the starting salaries for jobs that do).

There is no such thing as a labor shortage. If you cannot attract people to do a specific job it is either due to a lack of available training or insufficient compensation. If the trucking industry is short drivers, they need to pay more (the pay might not be bad for long-haul, but the working conditions and hours

What the article is say is that the real problem is people. If the last year has taught us anything, people are always the problem. We cannot trust people to do what is right and what will be most beneficial to everyone because they are afraid, selfish, and dumb.

So, if you’re not a victim of a violent attack you’d have to be a perpetrator. Sounds like the ad is saying that this little girl is going to go on a rampage, just look at her expression in that photo.

SN15 ditched the Helium tanks in favor of autogenous pressure (the Methane fuel that boils off replaces the liquid fuel used by the engines so that the closed container doesn’t have a vacuum bubble at the top), Everyday Astronaut talked about it during his live coverage.
