Avert your glaze.
We do need to finish this election, the 2024 election is already starting...
Senate seats are by state and can't be gerrymandered, you're thinking about house seats or state Senates.
The ST was on 140tw sticky tires and the BRZ was on the stock Primacy’s. With my 200tw trackday tires, I pick up about 2s per track mile over the Primacy OEM tires.
You asked if it was faster. The 86 is as much faster than a FiST as a Mustang GT is to an 86. The difference is a couple of seconds per mile of track, I lap a friend with a FiST (he’s a slower driver, but that only accounts for about half the difference).
I sat there and watched the Fiesta roll over along with 60+ other people at the autox. The event was held at Mineral Wells airport and the surface is level and where the FiST rolled, the only things it could have hit were the cones (it missed the cones).
That’d be sweet, he’s more than welcome to steal any/all my opinions for his own.
The driver turned into the right hand corner too fast and the car understeered while lifting the inside tires. The driver turned in harder (classic novice mistake) and the front tires tucked under making the FiST do a forward ‘shoulder roll’ first onto the driver’s front then the windshield/hood before the car slammed…
The BRZ drives like the average between an NC Miata and an S2k, the closest car I’ve driven to it was a Cayman/Boxster. The 86's are more forgiving and playful than the S2k or Cayman/Boxsters and will let you hang the backend out without immediately spinning you around.
In what metric? Neither are drag cars and if you’re just looking at 0-60 and 1/4 mile times you’ve missed the point entirely.
Like others stated, it’s not a bug but a feature. The problems with voting have been engineered specifically to disenfranchise voters (primarily the working class, poor, urban, and/or minority voters). In rural and suburban districts that align with Republicans, voting in America is like you described in Canada;…
Some people just want to see the world burn-t orange.
This actually sounds like an illegal vote, she should have had to fill out an absentee ballot before she left and submitted it in the mail like everyone else. Hell, they decided that curbside voting is illegal because apparently it’s impossible to not look at the ballot while walking to and from the car.
GM built the Apollo rovers, which was the only other electric off road vehicle they’ve built (kind of a stretch, but if I’d been them I would have skipped the Hummer name and embraced the Apollo connection more).
For Amendments, 2/3rds of the states are needed so just one can’t normally hold up the whole thing. However, 2/3rds of the states leaves plenty of ‘red’ states that would have to sign on. The agreement plan circumvents the whole process since technically the EC is still in place, just the electors from all the states…
The EC is an antiquated system that has outlived its usefulness. Basically the main reason it lasted as long as it has was because it didn’t make a difference. It wasn’t until the last 20 years that a difference emerged between the popular and electoral votes (and since the current system aids Republicans and they’ve…
The aggregated poles were pretty spot on, they showed a virtual tie or slight lead for Clinton in some key states and an overall preference for Clinton. Clinton did win the popular vote by a wide margin, but was narrowly defeated in a couple of key states to lose the electoral college. The ‘good’ polls gave Trump a…
Unfortunately, many (if not most) doctors in Texas are Republicans. There’s something about having money and becoming a Republican that just attracts doctors.
If you just swipe and go you’re looking at about 3-5min, but if you go inside to pay, use the restroom, or buy a coffee/candy bar 10min is pretty quick.
The fast charging stations like the Tesla Superchargers can fill up the batteries to 80% in 5min or so, which is fine for road trips as long as your route has the stations. For other charging, you just plug in the car at night and never go to the gas station.
