Most of the ND’s I have experience are ND1's so you could be right with the ND2 (30lbft is a 20% increase though, which isn’t something to scoff at). The Miata are all great cars, my only real gripes with the ND is that it’s too small for me (especially the passenger seat, when I instruct in one my head pokes way

They don’t know what they’re missing.

Due to Corona, all instructed sessions are lead/follow. On the local 2.7mi course, my BRZ is about 10s per lap slower than the very fastest street cars and I’m 20s per lap faster than the fast novices and about 10s per lap faster than fast intermediate drivers.

I have a 2014 BRZ that I bought new and use as my only vehicle. I’m a track instructor and have put thousands of track miles on my BRZ (I do about 30 track events each year and another dozen or so autocrosses). I love my BRZ and have convinced at least a dozen people to get one.

The only people who vote for directly for President are the electors of the Electoral College. When normal people vote, they are actually voting for the electors and saying which candidate they want those electors to vote for. Depending on the state, the electors can do whatever they want and vote for whomever they

Blimps don’t hold their shape, that’s the difference. Zeppelins or dirigibles are rigid air ships with an internal rigid structure and contain their lifting gasses in individual bladders within the structure, which can also be used as internal storage. A blimp is a fancy balloon and when empty of lifting gases

3000lbs, 300hp, and $30k. I’d also accept 3200lbs, 320hp, and $32k, but that’s getting close to Mustang territory.

The picture of the Jolie/Pitt Children reminded me of Umbrella Academy. If one of them starts looking gorilla-ish, someone might want to do some sort on intervention.

The SCCA requires vehicles to be wider than they are tall, and this requirement is shared by most official autox groups due to insurance requirements. I’ve seen a Fiesta ST roll over at an autox and it totaled a brand new car. Of course, if this safety nightmare were totaled you’d only be out the cost of a set of

After about a month, most people lose interest in an ongoing crisis and have either decided that it doesn’t effect them or it already did and it’s someone else’s problem now.

But, would they have still driven the “General Lee”, maybe as some sort of excellent camouflage or ingenious literal false flag use?

Makes sense, like my dad is a financial advisor and he sends em out to all his clients plus sends a Christmas letter to all the extended family and my grandma used to send em to everyone. They’re all pushing up the averages.

In the US, because that’s like 7 Christmas cards for every man, woman, and child in the country?

This should only be allowed if Jerry has to go down and sit in the stands with the rest of the fans. He can chose to wear a mask or not, but his seat needs to be decided at random from the normal tickets being sold.

But, you can’t fix stupid. It is possible to engineer a safer vehicle, but making smarter drivers is a bridge too far.

Yes, now you either have to yell at them to get off your lawn or say,  "bless your heart" to them.

The correct choice would be to take the money and paralysis; however, teenagers don’t often chose correctly. This guy was injured in his friend’s crash and made out with $3milllion after medical expenses and taxes. He then claimed that he should get 10x that amount, the only choice he made was that he believed the

No, but I think now that I should have. Also, teaching in the pandemic means I have a heightened risk of contracting and possibly dying from or suffering lifelong complications from Covid for a paltry sum. A guaranteed loss of legs for $3million (100%) chance would equate to a 1 in 30,000 chance for a similar or worse

$3 million is a lot of money, literally a lifetime’s earnings. If you look at opportunity cost, I’m taking a worse value proposition risk of teaching each day during the pandemic if the chances I experience a career ending illness are greater than 1 in 30,000.

$3 million after taxes and medical expenses for partial paralysis would have sounded like a bad deal for me 16 years ago, but knowing what I know now makes it a much more tempting deal. Hell, I’ve got to go teach classes of up to 32 teens starting next Monday (unless the school board flip flops again) at a school
