So in other words, they decided that the high end graphics they showed in marketing teasers were just too high of a bar to shoot for? Thats depressing.

it's definitely downplayed to be fair. It was changed quite noticeably compared to the promo vids.
honestly, i think there is only so much that Bungie can do to fix this. I think the issue revolves around his personal performance because he has a good voice. He just doesnt seem to care at all about what he's reading. He doesn't bother with emotion [and before someone complains saying AI's shouldnt be expressing…
the thing is it does sound slightly adjusted in a digital sort of sounding way. Its very subtle, but I can hear one or two clicks that come in showing he's an AI rather than someone on a radio.
thats good to hear. I just hope both of these titles are amazing.
if you were to compare The Evil Within against Isolation, would you say both of them achieve the horror survival aspect or does one out-perform the other?
It's like Detroit! In real life...
Fool me once...
I still dont know how I was to react with the cello. Still a pretty decent trailer.
I'm going to cling to unrealistic hope and point to the word 'passes out'.
He was not assassinated man. Sure, he got back-stabbed by several of his fellow compadres [and lovingly, I might add], but they never confirmed if he lived or died. However, if he does die, then thats the day I'm calling it quits for GoT.
say what?
you're happy the mountain won?
Exactly! I really REALLY REEEEEEEEEALLY want this to be a good game, and anything and everything that shakes the boat has me scrambling to find information
As scary as it sounds, does it the game itself live up to the hype the developers and some members of the community are making it out to be? First previews said this game had a lot to be worried about, and now seeing these reactions, make it sound honestly, something really good and scary.
There has been some negative press with this game, falling a bit all over both ends of the spectrum. Based on this latest engagement, would you say they have the ball rolling in the right direction or is it still aimless as some previews say it is?
Oh. They did a thing. Oh.......
I'll trust them. I liked Godzilla [the plot was okay, acting was decent, visuals and pacing were quite well done], and Gareth Edwards seems to know his stuff. Gary Whitta honestly seems to understand story structure which is a GREAT thing. I look forward to this :)
Exactly! its that attention to detail which has me excited for this; how often does a developer get gutsy and do something this complicated AND actually succeed? :)
