There is multiplayer! You just need to share your friend code and you can visit each other's towns (you can be there at the same time and hang out in the town). Doing so with my fiance right now over local wireless but it can also be done from anywhere.

There are non-BC treatments that can help with your symptoms - metformin is the most common. I've been taking it for over 10 years and it has helped with all my symptoms. Good luck.
