And it looks like the '83 diesel version only had 62hp. I'm not sure how that vehicle could even move.
Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe these are engines of the various specs:
I would like to nominate my 1985 Alfa Romeo Spider. As the original post had 8 reasons, I shall do the same.
From the rear, I'm in love. The front end is a bit awkward to me.
Damn it! You beat me to it!
I looked it up, and hers is a '95 Impreza. Subaru made FWD Imprezas back then.
As a young-ish person... under 30 anyway... I love my cars. I have three now and still want more. However, I'm still driving far less that I have ever driven before. I love driving. I love racing. I love building and restoring. At the same time, I hate commuting to work with a most vitrolic passion. Traffic is…
Even at their best, the NASCAR wipers barely functioned.
Also functioning doors, headlights, tailights.
What I'm trying to say is that silicon ester and silicone aren't the same thing. Silicon esters and silane can be used to make silicone, but they aren't themselves silicone. In a silicon ester, oxygen forms a bridge between silicon, and the organic group. In silicone, the silicon directly links to the organic group.…
I think their stuctures are different, so I would say they are different. I will agree that SRF doesn't look like a typical DOT 4 though. I don't feel like digging out my chemistry texts, so let's agree to disagree.
To clarify, Silicon Ester and Silicone have different chemical formulas. The Silicon Ester has more Alkanes per Silicon atom (4) than Silicone does (2).
I don't believe that is correct. SRF uses a Silicon Ester formula, and even the bottle itself says DOT 4.
I respectfully disagree. Silicone fluid compresses easily, so the pedal on a race car would feel soft. The boiling point of DOT 5 is higher than a standard DOT 4, but racing brake fluids like MOTUL RBF 600 and 660 are DOT 4 formulas with a much higher boiling point.
So is my brother. He still can't make up his mind.
I thought I was going to be so clever. Then I scroll down and see you beat me to it. I tip my cap to you sir.
As soon as I read the story, I thought I was going to be so clever. Then I scroll down and see you beat me to it. I tip my cap to you sir.
