Tylenol, I’ve been told, really only works well for fevers. Ibuprofen actually relieves inflammation, which I imagine those gums are experiencing with a tooth pushing through.

The second my kid was old enough for ibuprofen the remaining tylenol in the house got thrown in the back of the medicine cabinet for emergencies and barely saw the light of day again. Ibuprofen works better and, much more importantly, it works LONGER. So so important for getting through those long nights.

I hope I didn't sound like an asshole. I haven't had enough coffee yet. I have an 18-month-old and I swear ibuprofen works so much better than Tylenol. Tylenol is garbage medicine, IMO. I don't have any other advice, just solidarity. It'll get better quick. Hang in there.
