By now, the only reason I still watch these movies is to see how ridiculous they get. After the last one the bar is currently set at “The Rock drives a stolen ambulance off an overpass and smashes a drone with it, then steals its chaingun to attack the helicopter that launched it”.

From my experiences watching Twitch streamers it seems like even getting to this point is far more the exception than the rule. The whole gym thing just doesn’t work for me. I play the game to keep moving and get exercise, not to stand around in one spot for 45 minutes trying to take down a gym.

So far it reminds me a lot of Castle Crashers, which I enjoyed, but found to be way too much of a grindfest to keep my interest beyond one or two playthroughs.

I didn’t even see a single Chansey during the event, much less catch any. Tons of Lickitungs here though.

Through various coincidences, I am actually going to have a chance to attend the race (albeit only on Sunday) this year. I’ve been to a couple of ALMS and Rolex Series races at Miller back when they were racing there, but this will be my first time at one of the big endurance races. Any tips for stuff to check out?

My standard “stressed out” game would probably be Bejewled 3. I have 71 hours on my Steam profile for it.

I’ll probably spend some time messing with The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+. It’s been a while since I played Binding of Isaac Afterbirth, so I expect to die a lot.

I had a Gamestop gift card to burn so I picked up Pokemon Sun, and I’ll probably spend some time on that. Might have to go try out the Binding of Isaac Antibirth mod I’ve been hearing about in preparation for Afterbirth+ next week.

I spent a couple of years working on a project for Nissan as my job. I came away from it not particularly inclined to buy a Nissan anytime soon.

Who in their right mind actually buys a Chrysler 200 anyway? Do people get the things as rental cars and somehow think “This seems decent, maybe I should buy one”? All the ones I’ve had as rentals have been consistently uninspired, plasticky and dull. 

My DD is an ‘07 Rabbit 4-door I bought new and it just hit 100k about a month ago. Some minor mechanical stuff I need to get addressed (need to replace a water pump and an axle shaft at some point) but it’s been pretty reliable for me, and I still enjoy driving it

Is Just Cause 3 worth picking up for $15?

I am actually going to be down in Florida the weekend of Daytona this year, and I’m seriously considering making a side trip to go check it out. I’ve been to ALMS races before, but never one of the big endurance races.

I’ve recently become one of those rural players myself (not really since I still work in a major city) and one Pokestop 300 yards away is enough to keep me from being able to see anything but the one Pokemon that may be over by that stop. Not too worried about it though.

My wife and I just bought a new house earlier this month, which required buying a refrigerator, washer and dryer, although all of those were before Black Friday. We also bought a new bed since we needed one.
