I've been using NVidia cards almost exclusively in my systems since the Riva 128. Currently, I have a GTX 660 Ti in my system at home. I've just never been impressed with the driver support in the various ATI/AMD cards I've used, so I tend to just stick to NVidia.
Piracy is bad, mmkay?
I live just a few blocks away from Bungie in Downtown Bellevue, and got a chance to go in recently for a user research study (the details of which are NDA'd, and it's nothing too exciting anyway.) I didn't get to go upstairs (which seems to be where all the office spaces are located) but in the downstairs area there…
Obligatory.
Yes, I would never allow my kids to put stickers on any surface inside the car. I see cars driving around like this all the time, and it looks tacky every single time I see it.
Best one I've seen is 2 ladies and 10 dogs. One of these days I'm half-tempted to stick 1 lady on a car and fill up the rest of the rear window with cats...
I'd have to go with I-5 through Portland. Horrendous traffic every time I've had to drive there, randomly disappearing lanes, you have to navigate spaghetti junctions just to keep going straight, and stupidly low speed limits (but that's apparently just par for the course in Oregon.)
I, on the other hand, am so exclusive that they threw the molds out BEFORE they made me!
So that means they'll sell about 50 copies in Japan instead of 12?
Adam West and Burt Ward were at Emerald City Comiccon earlier this year, and they said the man problem with it is licensing issues. Apparently it is being worked on though.
Wait, is that the Batman figure we deserve, or the one we need right now?
Somedays you just can't get rid of a bomb.
Yeah, the traffic (not to mention the horrendous parking costs in South Lake Union) means that you're almost better off just driving to the Eastgate Park and Ride and taking the 212 bus across the lake on the I-90 express lanes, then taking Amazon's shuttle from the International District to campus. I don't work…
Yes. I worked over at Amazon for a while, and this was always a mess. It's even worse in the other direction, where westbound 520 dumps everyone off in the right lane less than a mile from the exit, forcing a bunch of people to quickly cross four lanes of (frequently bumper-to-bumper) traffic to get to the Mercer…
Back when the Xbox 360 came out, I pretty much bought it for Geometry Wars. I'm pretty sure I would have gotten one eventually anyway, but it was Geometry Wars that sold me on camping out for one on launch day.
Forget smashing a game, if you really want to get gamers up in arms, buy a sealed copy of something rare and collectible, then either never open it or (even worse) get it VGA graded.
I drive down there from Washington every once in a while (I have some family there) and higher speed limits are definitely welcome, although I certainly wouldn't complain if they could get Idaho into the act too. The stretch of I-84 from Boise to the Utah border is long, straight, (mostly) flat and boring, and could…
Mormons have nothing to do with any of the polygamists in Utah. The church has not sanctioned polygamy since 1890, and anyone who practices it now is considered apostate.
In other words, you're using their Skinner Box wrong.
