Did you see the Louis CK episode where some random kid is publicly abusive to Louis, so he follows him all the way home to his house on Staten Island, so he can tell his parents what a hideous human being they're raising? Turns out the parents are abusive creeps to their kid.

Poor guy—it's a mistake to talk with him at all, and it's his own fault for being a complete asshole. (Pity not pity.)

I've done it too. It's hard not to respond to someone who's such a repellent pus-laden canker sore. Sadly, as the rest of the thread shows, he was never even listening to anything anybody said. Too large a quantity of pus in his ears.

I know it's tempting, but try not to respond to misogynistic douches like this at all. Keep them in the grey! They aren't here to have a truly interactive conversation. Don't be a troll enabler!

Jesus was a subversive hippie.

Once more, Christianity is turned into a justificatory system for the most retrograde elements in western culture. Poor Christianity. Seriously.

This guy is strange, no doubt. But he seems to mentally put women in burqas so he can think of them as people rather than as fuck-objects. Your point seems to be that he ought to magically become a psychologically normal human being. Well, good luck with that.

Sure—I don't want to have rape fantasies, and I don't want to use burqa-dude's methods to deal with his sexual thoughts. But just because I don't want to adopt somebody else's interior ecology doesn't mean that I'm going to shame them for doing the best they can with whatever's going on in their heads. There are

Nah, he explicitly says that what he's doing isn't the right solution; it's just the best he can pull off.

Of course he gave up privacy, but that's not the same as making himself blameable for his own inner workings. Are we supposed to call the rape-fantasy feminists (of which I am not one) bad feminists?

True!

I see what you're talking about, but it's also possible to read the line as saying that some women do like the change. And it seems pretty clear that some women DO like the change.

I don't see the problem. Sex and sexual attraction are hard to process in a "perfect" way, and I don't think we have a right to hold people accountable for what goes on in the privacy of their heads. (What about all of the feminists who get sexually turned on by rape fantasies?) What we do have a right to hold

Yes, it is too much to ask. They are very, very busy asserting their value as more powerful and important and bread-winning than anybody else. Who has time to learn what science really says?

This is so desperate that it's actually more funny than rage-inducing. "But . . . but . . . what's happening can't actually be happening! Because it's not possible for it to be happening! Therefore it's not happening! Don't you know that I am a man, and therefore I dominate over all? Everything you think you see

“I’m so used to liberals telling conservatives that they’re anti-science...When you look at biology, when you look at the natural world, the roles of a male and a female in society and in other animals, the male typically is the dominant role. The female, it’s not antithesis, or it’s not competing, it’s a

WHAT.

I have no interest in the Superman franchise. Zip. Nil. Nada.
