Hmm, not much as of yet, I tweeted Dodai too (I am hoping that it is just that they don't know about the comments and unhappiness, rather than them turning a blind eye). Not feeling too optimistic to be honest! Will let you know though.

`It does seem that way doesn't it? I'm surprised about the lack of response that readers/ commenters get from authors when something is strongly disagreed with... The main evidence of this being in the 'Libyan video rape of a journalist' editor's note;

Two words for you: click bait

I don't think that the strawman who you wrote this for reads Jezebel. *shrug*

Right? And Roseanne was wrong in her criticism of Jezebel, in what way? This Paris Jackson coverage is seriously fucked up. The Amanda Bynes non-stop idiotic updates are for what purpose. I am slowly realizing that Jezebel is becoming a hate-read for me.

Yes! I went immediately to non-grey when Kinja came in, then went to grey after about a week. I get loads of comments recommended, including the odd recommend from Jez writers and I'm still grey. Did I piss someone off and get permanently blacklisted or something? If so, just tell me and I will leave!

I don't get the comment system promotion at all and their shitty explanation is shitty. I'd been commenting on gawker sites for years under various names (even back when they had to approve you first). Then I was grey. Then I was black. Now I'm grey again. I give up; I don't even give a shit anymore. Especially of

Something weird happened to me today too. So my posts on Jezebel always post grey, needing to be promoted, but on Gawker I used to post black right away and were always near the top of the page, even when they hadn't been promoted. But today, all my comments posted gray and when I went back to the articles to see

How long does it take to come out of the gray? I tried to find out but I think the FAQ I found was old.
I think there needs to be a better system for getting active, non-troll commentors our of the gray, or at least a clear process of becoming a non-gray user.
I also agree that some here are rather snarky when it comes

No it's just horrible. What are those things anyway? Tit curtains???

Yeah, if "hormone surges" caused sexual assaults, there would literally not be a single high school student who wasn't a rapist.

You want an example of institutional misandry, MRAs? Check out your elected officials excusing sexual assault by saying men are basically just wild animals.

They didn't invite a single sexual assault survivor to testify, male or female. That's more disturbing to me than the gender make-up of the panel or the audience.

Thank you for not following through with the last, hoorrible, GBU format. That is all.

A favorite moment for me: my son used "fuck" in a Facebook post. One of his cousins asked "Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" He replied "Who do you think taught me to talk like this?"

Side note about using the word fat. I was that kid and I may have been the same age, 3, when I called my aunt "fat." She cried and left the house in a terrible state, and it was awful for her and I deeply regret it BUT guess what? I learned how terrible a word it was at an early age and never called someone fat again.

I'd much rather my kid swear correctly than use terrible grammar.

I saw her in that movie with Scarlet Johannson and Javier Bardem, where she's supposed to be the "gorgeous woman who's also a genius" trope, and she totally sold it. I had no trouble at all believing that she was an intellectual, artist, and troubled soul. Not a whiff of cliche' on that performance. She is an amazing

Hopefully, but Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are two pretty smokin' people, and, well . . .

Jesus H Christ. Between this and that guy who wanted to cut off food stamps to families whose kids did poorly in school, it's like they've been combing their hair with hammers.
