ESPN move out of Bristol? Has anyone with that suspicion ever even driven past the ESPN campus? There are dozens of buildings and studios, and a satellite farm responsible for transmission of not only ESPN's networks but Disney/ABC's networks too. Yeah, there are some smaller studios and offices leased and owned in

So, ESPN recently felt like they had to lay off some employees, eh?

Fitting that a place known for doorbell production would attract on-air talent so concerned with getting their knobs polished.

"Drinking, Debauchery, Leather, and Occasional sports. Visit Bristol, CT... We're Vegas East!"

Wow, what a great reminder of why I stopped buying cable.

Yeah, but Ray Lewis adds SOOOO much to the ESPN football pregame show. Who cares if you could pay for 10 behind the scenes people for what you're paying him..

if they would have included racewalking they would be set

These smaller cuts, in conjunction with the larger layoffs in May, June, and July, are really indicative of something larger going on at ESPN. That's what so interesting about all of this. Under John Skipper, the network way over extended itself, financially, on rights and on 'stunts' like hiring KO back to 'fight'

International X-Games made sense when ESPN was international.

There's also been a weird trend this from this year: There's the ESPN that hires Olbermann, Whitlock, Silver and is finishing construction of a fancy new SC studio. And then there's the austere ESPN that cuts hundreds of jobs. Just heard this one: ESPN got rid of the masseuse who'd give out massages around campus.

Eff espn! Fox will kick their ass! Eff Goodall too!

"We have to figure out how to make a distinction between this business decision and the journalists at ESPN."

Create a meme, report it out, repeat it all day, and let the rest of the media world re-report it, which ESPN then re-re-reports

they're basically creating their own demand for those stories, that way they can avoid doing the extra work of researching a legit story

ESPN is merely using this manufactured story to blanket the stench of their other shortcomings, so really, how does this differ from the actual CK Obsession?

Tomorrow on NFL Countdown: Kaepernick might be the greatest of all time, but is he "elite?"

In a high-rise somewhere in Manhattan, Keith Olbermann straightens his tie, takes a sip of his mid-morning scotch, and checks the closet to make sure he is well-stocked with his patended brand of bridge-burning napalm.

Worldwide Leader in Stupid

Here's hoping the NFL is destroyed.

I'm not remotely embarrassed. I've lived in Canada, Australia, the UK and the US. The US is easily the least efficient of the four in many, many areas. It is also the least free politically, certainly in the last twenty years. The US started out with a slew of brilliant ideas bequeathed to it by its founding fathers,
