This does it for me, still, after all these years. The new one goes way too big on the side vent in my opinion or it might have worked better. The size of the side vent on the original was just the right size to be semi functional but also intriguing and is, for me, what made it stand out. Because the first time I saw

So yeah, I am Gen-X and this is rather exciting. This was the dream car and the closest I ever got was a large scale model that was $50 which, at the time, was a lot for a model car. Aside from seeing a few in person I never got the gumption to buy one even though I technically could now. It will be neat to see what

I guess I just thought it was because he was going to convince the big three to make fewer ICE vehicles and more EV’s... Why would Tesla, an EV only manufacturer, need to be there for that?

God took the wheel. Now the government’s gonna take her kid.

Well I was going to give her my 2018 Santa Fe when I buy a new car in about 2 years. I hope you’re right about the used market holding steady a bit more because that could work out quite well as long as the new cars settle down once the chip shortages end. Then I would just trade hers in on the new one.

So this isn’t a lease but I was curious about all these articles talking about the demand for used cars. My wife’s 2013 Hyundai Sonata with only 22,000 original miles on it was worth about $7500 last time I checked in about 2019.

I swear I watched that video and toward the end I couldn’t tell if he was mackin’ on her in the back seat. Once I went full screen I could tell that it was just showing them with the goosehead lamp on into the night, so no mackin’ -just chess or something.

He claims the car is basically alien technology. Meanwhile the crowd was clamoring just to get fucking waypoints, something every cheap ass GPS since 2000 has had.

It is getting to the point where they’re trying to copy Apple by “thinking different” and trying to change everything they can about the car right down to the steering wheel. But they never stopped to think that just because they can doesn’t mean they should.

OK so if I want heated seats now I pay, let’s say, $600 for the option.

Yep. Sums it up right here for me!

It sure looks better than the version it’s replacing, assuming that is saying much.

Better yet. What if we built this train thing you speak of and put it inside a tube where it will float on either a cushion of air or a cushion of magnetic force and go really fast? It will only take 20 years to figure out all the kinks, buy all the land necessary, and actually build it - but it will be so cool that

In the event of a fire: Don’t panic. Elon has a drawing on a napkin for exactly how to build a submarine. They’ll just fill the tunnel with water and come and rescue you.

Rose colored nostalgia indeed. I never once thought I needed A/C in my 1980 Camaro but looking back I have no idea how that wasn’t an issue, especially for my friends crammed in the back seat! Of course, the windows went all the way down since it was only 2 really long doors.

So how long before we see people removing the front trunk lid and installing couches so they can sit in the front? Would be great for Drive in Movies but not so great in a collision.

It paints a picture of an organization that never looked at how to properly respond to an incident - that is ultimately the problem here.

Agreed. I have never seen it before but can tell it was meant to portray the ounce of respect they are showing to each other even when they both do not respect each other enough to stand face to face.

Glad the guy is okay and whoever rolled that tire needs to be locked up. It is no joke when you see a stray tire coming at you.

Wouldn’t brushed satin make dirt stick better though? I am assuming they would have tested that but who knows.
