All I really want to know is how well it does vehicle to load. I would get this as a daily driver and backup home battery and keep the ICE VW Atlas CS for the long trips.

I was in a similar situation but on Kauai. We had just given the key to our rented condo, which was booked 1 extra day already because we had a night flight out, away before making it to the airport too.
Used to be a time where local governments only really got revenue from speeding tickets. I cannot imagine they’re fans of this potential law.
2018 Santa Fe here. It is at the dealership RIGHT NOW because of an ongoing issue where it feels like it’s about to stall and I let them talk me into paying to replace the PCV valve because “it’s due at 60K” and I am at 59,900 now. But I swear, this is my last Hyundai. They would have been wise to do some form of…
The article says it locks at least, which was a question I had as well. I was worried that at some point you’d hear it flapping in the wind on the freeway but maybe not if it locks. As for drainage, who knows.
Yeah I think that was the best part for me. This poor guy was just doing what she told him and handing over paperwork but, until she showed up, he was the only one that was going to do any time for the BS.
He should have said he was the keymaster, not the postmaster. Sheesh.
I don’t launch boats but in my area the only place they let us launch paddleboards and kayaks is on the same ramp and those suckers are so slick from algae that I’m surprised this doesn’t happen all the time to trucks. I nearly lost my paddleboard after slipping on that crap!
I know this method comes from the 2011 “The Thing” prequel, but now I need to go back and watch to see if one or both of them have any fillings in their teeth.
Honestly, we can’t even get people to stop for red lights lately - how would we ever get them to accept a major change like this?
Same boat as you. I ended up going with the Michelin Crossclimate 2 All Seasons with the 3 peak mountain rating. Drove up to Vermont for xmas last year and had no problems with all the snow there. Prior to those I had the Vredestein tires and they were decent but didn’t last long and definitely not as good as the…
Plenty of winter storms but honestly the craziest I’ve ever driven through was lava. I drove a rented Jeep Grand Cherokee into an active lava field on the Big Island of Hawaii and even drove over old roads that were partially covered by old lava. I literally had to park the car in what appeared to be the safest spot…
I have been seriously considering one but my reason for holding back at this time is because their service is basically “take it to a Firestone near you” and I absolutely hate all of the nearest Firestones in my area. I will admit they do offer other service centers too but none of those exist near me. If they get to…
So my 2018 Santa Fe had this recall done already last year, but the fix is simply changing out a fuse. That is their M.O. with any recall - “find the cheapest fix” and I guess the NHTSA is fine with just making a fuse blow out before a fire but it seems to me they should have been tasked with actually fixing the…
Another good reason to keep that mace on your keychain.
It took years, actually decades unfortunately, but eventually congress did slap the hands of cable companies charging subscription fees for hardware that was provided to users. Not sure that their laws ever actually saved anyone money though. Anyway, here’s to hoping that they’ll act a bit faster on subscriptions for…
My favorite was a programmable corvette that you could set pre-set routes, tell it when to honk the horn or make a burn-out sound, etc. It was awesome and I wish I still had it. Given that I work in IT now it definitely was helpful as a toy that helped me develop my programming skills later on in life.
Great point. Love it!
Actually, you’re right. Good old 8 ball FTW!
$30 million? Wow. I will gladly be the CEO of any company for just $3 million and then I’ll use AI to help make the big shareholder decisions. Who’s hiring me?
