My stainless steel fridge has fewer gaps than that POS.

Oh yeah I see what you mean. Wow that’s bad. Anyone who drives by me in this thing is going to see me laughing my ass off at how dumb they are for buying that POS.

So, I was the guy that bought the Plymouth Breeze, nay, leased it in fact. I had driven one as a rental in Hawaii and actually liked it plus the price was right at the time. It was actually a great car and I had no problems with it other than a hood repaint that was part of a recall that they did for free.

Didn’t make the list but in 1991 I had put a deposit down on a 1986 Camaro IROC-Z28 in bumblebee yellow and black. It was a beautiful car and I was about a day from getting my loan all together when I found out the car dealership sold it out from under me. Anyway, that car should have made this list. It was probably a

Yes there will be, but I lived through the era where we said the same thing about Japanese cars and you see how that turned out.

Dang. I might have to buy a PHEV in Canada... I’m just over the border anyway!

Good point about the profit margins. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next 5 years if that levels off or if China enters the market and really shakes things up from a price standpoint.

Hard to tell anymore if the $7500 rebate is doing more harm than good on these EV prices. Manufacturers seem to have all of their prices inflated by that amount to indirectly keep the savings for themselves and this could get even worse next year when we can directly sign the rebate over to dealerships.

Good to hear. As long as it’s better than Crystal Skull then I am excited to see it when it’s streaming.

China is going to have to be allowed in or the EV market will actually never fully realize it’s potential here - because we need competition to lower prices but that won’t happen without China (or at least not as quickly).

This is why I fully support AI taking over CEO positions. Give the money to the workers, fire the CEO and put an AI in place. They should be scared.

You’re absolutely spot on!

2013 Hyundai Sonata with 19,000 original miles - Paid off

Do they honestly need to even do this? Why not just make the AI create randomized humans for use like that and then you don’t even need to pay the extras in the first place?

Armchair here too but I was thinking the same thing!

I cannot believe this would actually have me rooting for Zuckerberg. Is there any way they can both lose?

Yeah. And the Navy is stating now that they detected the implosion basically when comms were lost on Sunday, so this happened as they were heading down and would have likely been so fast that they didn’t have time to think or have any idea what was happening.

As long as it does NOT have Shia Lebouf, lead-lined refrigerators and big fake CGI Ants, I will give the franchise another chance just for Harrison’s sake. (funny how not even aliens was enough to bother me).

I just don’t see the value-add from Apple on this one yet. The price is going to be the biggest problem at first but even over time if that goes down there are so many use-cases that they have yet to prove here. We saw immediate use-cases when the iPod and iPhones were introduced, even the iPad for that matter. This?

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again - this is OK for owners who have had their cars stolen and/or totaled... but what about the rest of us?
