Thanks for a very informative comment. You, sir, are certainly no blockhead.

Not sure I have the capacitance for this kind of surge in interest.

I really think manufacturers are taking advantage of the tax credits by keeping prices higher than they would be without incentives here in the states. Example. Ford Mach E is definitely not luxurious inside by any count of the imagination and yet its a cool 50K to get one (minimum). But of course you get $7,500.00 in

Tom, I am curious how you feel about this idea of EV’s becoming more straight up online purchased VS dealers. Looks like all the manufacturers are at least considering ditching dealership sales in the future and using EV’s as a way to head in that direction. How would that impact what you do for clients and how do we

I was kinda done with Tesla already after seeing all the build quality issues. But when I saw they removed the shifter? No way, especially after seeing the video showing what you have to do to even get the car to reverse manually if you want to. This kind of shit is equivalent to Apple removing the headphone jack -

The guy is gonna need a good lawyer but the lawyer will cringe when he sees what has already been posted/admitted to on social media.

So you’re saying that was actually a DeepFake Torch? Noooooooo

Pay attention here folks. We may really be looking at some of the last great cars before EVs take over. Someday you will find yourselves (I already have in other things like VCR’s, Rotary phones and Dialup internet) talking about how cars used to have big engines that ran on gasoline and kids are going to be both

I don’t know why I hadn’t even thought of this but it is a big concern and they need to get it right - I think the idea of taxing at the charger is more fair though. Like it or not we do have undocumented citizens that do not pay taxes, but if they use the roads and buy gas then at least some funds are collected there

I really think that Jeep could offer a percentage of sales to the Cherokee nation and keep the name going. For once I’d like to see that kind of an offer versus just agreeing to rename everything.

Excellent advice!

Isn’t it ironic? Don’t you think?

Kinda sad that I actually think the Tesla branded rendition does look so much better and I refuse to ever buy a Tesla branded anything!

So the whole battery thing has already been temporarily resolved in regards to the F150 I thought. They put a 4 year exemption on SK so Ford can proceed. Seems Ford will have 4 years to find another supplier, but that should be enough time.

Sounds great (no, not really) until the car guesses you want to reverse at 65mph.

I am excited too. We do need the competition to get the prices down, I am just not sure I could pull the trigger on buying an EV from them anytime soon until they get away from all these numerous recalls.

I guess they all have their issues. I had Hondas too but a lot of paint jobs went bad prematurely in some of those in the last decade. I can’t say anything about Toyota as I don’t have any personal experience.

You’re right. Come to think of it I’m having similar issues with my Samsung watch. I used to trust Korean companies a lot but something has changed in their philosophies.

As the owner of several Hyundai’s over the years, I have to say I am losing faith in Hyundai. It’s almost like all the quality they finally got a reputation for has been slowly returning back to the shitshow they were in the early 90's. Now this battery thing might be the fault of LG, but it still seems very

I also read an article about Israel-designed and Chinese made batteries that recharge a car in 5 minutes up to 200 miles of range - It said BP is buying into that tech. They have finally realized that they can keep their stations and sell food/soft drinks but keep the model where we stop and refill our cars regardless
