I’ve dealt with similar people asking why as a guy I would ever considering a playing a game with a female protagonist (or choose a female protagonist when there is an option). They never seem to understand that putting oneself into another prospective is actually a GOOD thing. :/

AirBnB is a 4th party typically, between the landlord, the renter and the subletter. As the majority of their units are lease breaking sublets, I doubt either AirBnB or the leasee’s will get a lot of traction on the Mrs. Murphy defense.

Since 99% of AirBnB rentals are illegal sub-lets, I doubt the Mrs. Murphy Exemption applies, that’s just what AirBnB will use as a defense. Like how Uber drivers are all “contract” drivers except when they’re not.

Common sense says the landlord should know the terms of the lease better than you as they deal with them every day and not violate your lease just to do a little uninvited painting! He’s the one getting off to a bad start with his tennant.
