There are two round nipples on the vertical parts of the bumper, on either side of the nose. Is that a mounting point for the European licence plates?

Yes, Navy pilots. Air Force doesn’t land on anything short of a 2 mile runway.
Strap a Honda generator on, done.
Just keep my nice empty country roads to me and let our future robot overlords do the rest!
You my friend are a glutton for punishment. I still remember having calf pains when I had my ‘02 Jetta TDI stick leaving a concert venue on a slight uphill. 1 1/2 hours straight of inchworming, I don’t think I walked straight the next day!
Man, at that point you can make a car with any form factor you want. Put plexiglass dividers and have 4 compartments in the vehicle with electric tinting - blacking it out if you want to and your own door to get out of. The possibilities would be endless.
I can point you to the comment I wrote to schererna, but between just scheduling rides for passengers that can follow a work flex time to spread out congestion can save a lot.
I had the same thoughts, but they mention AI using driving efficiency algorithms for optimal driving density, driving space, and essentially removal of human error to help eliminate things like the slinky effect.
I still think one will put pressure on the other. They start rolling these cars out in mass in the next 5-7 years and prove their worth to where the government will want to have them standard on all future cars. I would hope that before this happens “smart roads”, or at least properly paved ones start becoming a…
Don’t tell West Virginia that...

The world is a vile place and you are not in control of that.
5th Gear: Dept of Redundancy Department wants to have a word with you:
It was a bump-draft which ended up being a move that closely resembles what cops do while pursuing at high speed. Get the rear end off balance and lose traction. At those speeds if a fishtail starts it’s all over.
I saw that and liked what they said about insurance. My mother and father-in-law were also in auto insurance claims. The prevailing laws that insurance then follows in this case is if you run into a car - it is your fault, period. They take the stance that you should have been following further behind. The only…
I have been in a few with different systems, my own being a Subaru Crosstrek and new Forester for wife, but FCA’s radar system and Tesla’s are all different. Any system of sensors that are used the output to the driver is remarkably similar - loud beeps and dashboard red while the brakes are vigorously applied. Its…
I can confirm that my Subaru Eyesight on my old Crosstrek would identify and track a motorcycle without problem, and that is with the adaptive cruise control on so I can confirm constant tracking.
I have had the Subaru eyesight system on 3 vehicles over the past 4 years, we have maybe gotten one or two <beep beep beep’s> from the system to look up and maybe there wasn’t something there but never activated brakes unless absolutely necessary.
I had also rented a hot ass garbage Malibu and had the unfortunate experience of driving it at 7000 ft above sea level. It had absolutely no low end torque unless it was gunned and then had no idea of how to shift - almost like there was a gear or two completely missing.
That is what we actually did. We waited and got the Forester ‘19 “Sport” Edition (which is not sporty, just orange lines). Now saving at least $200/month that will easily pay for a Miata Whip-it
