We are a primary Subaru household, and it works for what we use it for handily. Just got the Wilderness Edition Forester, which feels like the regular Sport we had - but with every bolt tightened, a little more dressed up, and the burlier tires work where we are at down the sometimes sloppy dirt road in Michigan.

And that is a HUGE amount of fuel for one specialized vacation industry.

It really only qualifies until the end of the year when the $80k cap kicks in.  So there is no way the Hummer will ever qualify, and only if you are somehow able to skip the line to get a Lucid before the end of the year or had a reservation for the past 2 years.

I don’t disagree at all, we humans take appearance of things emotionally and change is new and new is good. I think the same way.

The only changes I have seen is bumper refreshes for the special edition Model S variants. Always iritive changes, but haven’t heard any word that a redesign is anywhere on the horizon.

Bigger than a Maverick, much more comparable to a Tacoma and Ranger. I would actually rather the mid-sized truck than the big bloated things we have on the road now, but the price comparison between Lightning and R1T doesn’t make sense.

What about the consequences of high speed pursuit to innocent bystanders? This is not a zero-sum game here, they are literally using the streets filled with bystanders to catch someone.

As others said, you described Forza Horizon to a tee. They even have a new add-on that brings back Hotwheels tracks to it, and those tracks are indeed fun.

In essence the BLE handshake between the car and phone is no different than a synced headphone/speaker and phone. First the car and phone have to be synced through the normal process. Then there is a mutual handshake, bi-directional, once presence is signalled. BLE is an active protocol that is always looking for

Lock Picking Lawyer says, “Have a nice day” as he drives away without key in hand.

Did something similar, thought it would be cool to the the Knight Rider swoosh on my ‘96 F150, and had it match the blue paint...

For that generation of F-150 this particular would be considered essentially rust free.

And all DJI units are registered with a DJI account to be fully unlocked. You can’t just pull open a $12-18K drone out of the box and fly it across quite a large body of water. If stolen it would have definitely been serial registered at some point, if not US or Can FAA (sorry I don’t know the name of it in Canada).

Sure is illegal:

I think most people are seeing both car and truck do intentionally aggressive illegal acts to each other. Sure, you can assign a score to level of assholery if you feel like it - but the Raptor could have just of easily gone into the cliff face or sent another passerby into it as well.

So true, even from the logistics standpoint it makes the most sense to be as energy agnostic as possible. Use electricity for everything if you are planet hopping - it’s not like you are going to transport dino juice off planet or mine, purify and transport from another world. Hell, do other worlds even have oil like

I first thought it was a Mach-E they forgot to finish painting. From the nose to electron plug filler placement it’s uncanny.

There are about 400 of those old EV Rangers on the market from the early/mid-2000's. Someone above talked about them, a mechanic above said there are about 200 in a fleet in New Orleans still.

You are pushing against current physics there, you would have to have a trailer with batteries just to get enough. As you add battery weight you lower towing capacity and start getting diminishing returns. Batteries are super efficient at max, but only hold 1/3rd energy capacity as dino juice.
