I think the major reason this never took off is because of the unsprung weight problem. It’s easier to centralize the weight with linkages to the wheels than to have that much unsprung weight affecting everything.

You apparently don’t know how corporation computer systems work.  As an employee you only have user access - can’t even install a program (or in my case I can’t even plug in a USB drive).  It is solely up to the IT department to commit to the upgrade.
