I'd like to see her catch me in this beauty.

I like to think that at some point, Carroll Shelby took his very own 427 Cobra for a ride, went through all the gears with its foot buried in the loud pedal, topped the thing at 180+ mph and then said to himself :

''Welp, this car is sluggish, it definitely needs more power''.

But as I was sifting through the Jalopnik replies, and the Tweets, and the e-mails, and the texts, and Facebook messages from people I haven't spoken to since the days when I wondered why a clock's "big hand" doesn't have have fingers, I discovered a running theme: you guys really wanted me to import a car. That might be cool, actually:

4. What Does Expensive Diesel Mean For People Who Want Diesel-Fresh Breath?

Your own truck? Nice.

Pay's not that good in Canada, and from what I could see it's pretty bleak-looking if you want to have a truck of your own. I don't want to drive a regular route with a boss that don't care if my snow tires are bald because ''they were changed x miles ago, and that spreadsheet says that you won't

After his first experience in advanced mode, his comment was "Whoa, that was an explosive drive."

Future auto journo, right there.

I know it's not the most lucrative job, it can be somewhat boring, it's hell on your health and I already have a good gig...

So why do I want to drive a W900 across the USA SO BADLY?!

Fuel economy aside, a tractor (with an auto) is amazing in traffic. It's comfy as all hell, there is amenities inside and you can cook and watch TV if the road is blocked for a while.

or if he's using a PDK, he could change gears a hundred times in a second.

well, Honda DID say they were working on a 300+ HP VTEC turbo four-banger...

so this engine, in a lightened, hybrid-less NSX with a sub 60K starting price? I like the idea.

A few of the cars I've driven/owned/had loaned/came out the top of my head:

05 Magnum RT : 21-30% (Welp, don't you like RWD V8 Wagon?)

08 RX-8: 71-80% (make sense)

14 Volvo S60 Drive-E: 11-20% (but... turbo AND supercharged...)

86 Chrysler New Yorker (4-cyl) 6-10%

12 Mercedes-Benz GLK : 6-10%

14 Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost :

Forza Motorsport 6?

Hold your horses will you! the 5th is not nearly out of juice yet, there is plenty more DLC to go!

Most of the time, if you care about driving and don't consider it a shore, you will be better, simply because you pay attention.

In my example, the only thing Northern driver have is experience. We are not taken by surprise by snow, since we drive through it 6 month a year.

If your model had that equipment as an option (but your particular car don't), it's possible to install the whole system, but it can be complicated (and costly, with all the switches, relays, fuses, wiring...)

Most of the time, it's just easier to use a temporary solution:

which car is it?

That's annoying, since the point of a heated seat is Not having to sit in a cold seat...

I kinda remember Toyota having to recall some seats that caught on fire... this may be the reason they installed sensors.

8.) People From The North Know How To Drive In The Snow

can't you just switch the heating element to the driver side?

How bad of a Canadian winter are we talking about (or aboot)?

We had -24 this morning, and I congratulated myself multiple time of having heated seats AND heated steering.

I had a car without any of that last week , and I hated it. We have grown accustomed to too much creature comfort
