I think I had a good year. I got the ‘87 on the right for $7,500 (salvage title), and the ‘80 roller on the left for $1,000. Both have been bastardized a bit, but they will be fun projects.
Correction, he would be broke. He would have caught the Porsche bug, and instead of selling them he would only want more. Long story short, it doesn’t count unless you’re willing to cash out and it would be quite the opposite.
Hp to weight is why my little aircooled T1 does so well, pictured first on grid below:
What a D-bag! If I were his instructor this video would either be about 2 laps long, or he would be pacing a miata for a while to learn the line (because lets face if your in a miata you have to focus intensly on the line just to stay awake).
Surprised my formula vee on massive steroids only got 71-80%.
This fun looking project car :-):
Not sure how the notifications work on the comments, but wanted to let you know I did add some more info and some racing footage in another response.
Sorry, don't have a detailed build thread anywhere. The engine is a type 1 bored and stroked to a 2276cc, aluminum case, 11.5:1 compression, a big cam, big heads, wiseco pistons, Weber 48 IDF carbs, a 7.5 pound fly wheel, and crank trigger ignition. Also has a AJ Speedshift hydraulic shifter, and Wilwood 4 piston…
Thank you.
I prefer mine exposed and backwards:
My 200 hp, 1,000 lb trials car almost went undefeated last season:
I don't think you want to use water on a fire where gas might be involved. I thought the gas just floats on top of the water running off, while still on fire, causing it to spread.

I believe this one called Death is pretty fitting:
This one is my favorite, primarily because it is the one that protects my head. It is Impact Racing's Champ helmet in flat black with a smoke face shield:
I agree. I see two skilled Porsche drivers dodging a not very skilled driver that shouldn't have come back across.
Awesome, it was unfortunate that it started to cut out on him during the race so he had to come in after only a couple laps. He has put countless hours into it after a crash in the 2009 Historics:
