(The following words are just MY opinion.)
What i can see from your writing is that you are a person who is able to make use of critical thinking and as such, games like Hatred won´t likely have much negative impact on you.
I also would be less critical about this game if it´s developers wouldn´t be such jerks. With the

Partially agreeing with your statement about the trend that some people think of their opinion beeing superior. On the other hand there is that kind of people that experience everything they read as an insult. I also like to call them "People who only read what isn´t written".

GENEROUS HALF-ORC ROGUE FROM A PLACE ONLY THEY CAN PRONOUNCE WHO FINDS ARMOUR TOO RESTRICTING
Whaaaat?!
Seems like people in this world have a general problem with strapping helmets properly.

I can´t make it out for my yet, but you may be right. As another user (oldtaku) mentioned earlier in this thread: When you know that you are probably get targeted by hackers, you have to backup you stuff often like hell.

You don´t need to. Just one picture under this one you have that "sexualized" male warlock. Men and women are mostly equally (visually) sexualized in those game and while i am quite feminist, i think that visual "sexualization" in videogames is the wrong topic most feminist are arguing over. But i give them a point in

I also don´t mind it for a channel with good informative video´s like this.
What also comes to my mind is that i read an article some month ago on gamasutra where the author complained about the fact that the knowledge of old videogames (with its mechanics, achievements in game design etc.) gets lost because there are

I see where you getting at. But in my opinion SAO wasn´t an stereotypic anime in the first place and one of the shows where experimenting with the formula didn´t felt out of place.

I also thought of the Mother´s Rosario arc of beeing damn good. I couldn´t get warm with the caliber arc at first, but in the context of the overall season it really made sense.
For Sword Art Online II i just have one major complain: The Murder Mystery Arc stretches a little bit to much. It surely took time to

You can´t be serious. That was the ONLY 12 hour sale that i have missed, and it really had transistor on it? I hope it returns in a 24 hour sale...
But thanks for the hint!

I loved Bastion and i still have to play Transistor! You hear me Steam Sale?!

I refer to the platforms before the room where you have to use the platform weapon to get the next stairs up.
I play the game on an emulator.
By the first boss you mean that sand golem which shoots it´s parts at you , right? He always uses the same pattern. you have to short-hop over the first three blocks that come at

Just loved Shovel Knights "facial expressions". Especially the "asking" one when Shield Knight got shocked. =)

I also remember that i was awed by the animations of Aladin. I played through the Lion King on Game Boy and as it´s SNES and Genesis iterations, was hard as hell. But i think you hadn´t to use that roll on scar, but i can´t recall it exactly...

Much appreciated. I love just this kind of stuff. Getting background information about game development (8 and 16-bit games in particular). Especially when it is honest like here the stuff about why they made the monkey puzzle so hard. =)

Your last sentence is also always my last sentence when it comes to discussing MTX. Dota 2 and Path of Exile are doing it right. Maybe PoE does it even better because their care for the community, feedback and new content is beyond match. Valve is more the quite giant.
Of course this route takes much more time because

I can´t agree more on your words. I know, it won´t change haters from within. But it would help a great deal if more people, from whom i believe to exist many more than haters, let their words of critical thinking be heard.
Life isn´t black or white. We are living in a grey zone of opinions, but not everyone learned

To which Wily stage you are reffering? Mega Man 1 or 2?

Yeah. Those in the Ice Man Stage and Wily Stage(a little bit less). Especially in the Ice man Stage, i got the feeling that it was hard to get an overview where to go and this passage spikes the difficulty through the stagger mechanic. If you get hit on a platform that moves right (what you need to progress) and get

I am playing Megaman 1 right now and while i don´t think that it is that hard (except for some unfair flying platforms) i am really excited to play this one.

True. I think this is not only part of the FF Series but of many JRPG´s. I always have an eye for female representation in games but related to the male representation. It seems pretty even for me in FFV for both genders so i don´t have any complaints. (Also i wouldn´t mind inbalances if it serves the context)

For the
