Why do we keep asking? Because firing the guy in charge of investigating yourself is _exactly_ what a dumb, guilty person would do. Ergo, the only thing stopping Trump from doing exactly that is his own staff physically restraining him from getting on Twitter and announcing it.

If that’s what Trump says, then the reality is then we’re going to need a few more continuing resolutions to get the gov’t through this winter. I’m sure his inner circle is pretty close to being done tinkering with whatever they’re going to offer up to the rest of the party, but it’s going to take weeks, if not

Unless you are actively buying or selling crack,

I’d just like to point out that on this, the final campaign day before the Senate vote in Alabama, Roy Moore’s last, best argument for voting for him boils down to: “Look! I can be in the same room with a 12-year-old girl and _not_ molest her!”

Yeah, apparently it’s unreasonable these days to expect a Republican candidate who hasn’t molested _any_ children at all. And yes, in Alabama, someone who _doesn’t want abortion outlawed_ is worse than someone who _actually, literally stalks high school girls_. I hate human beings.

Ugh. Yeah, the fact that his feet are just laying on their sides is _not_ cool. Hope it’s just a stinger.

Good lord... is that a hairy-knuckled thumb with a shirt collar wrapped around it?

When she puts her hands together, I can almost see her scratching subconsciously... “Can we hurry this up? I have another dose scheduled at the top of the hour, and if it’s late I think I’ll pull my skin off...”

Nougat? I thought that was where the Mole People ruled the rest of us from.

Dude’s hair came off a Lego figure...

As someone who lives in Idaho and has a number of friends in the SLC area... yeah. That’s pretty accurate. They really don’t have much else to do besides shit like that. The only reason I have friends there is they’re the ones who get the hell out of Dodge on the weekends instead of staying in and doing exactly this.

So, Jones isn’t on the committee reviewing Goodell’s contract, and (on paper) has no input to that process, but he’s still threatening a lawsuit to stop them from doing what they’re supposed to do? I mean, I know that at this level of the legal system the highest-paid lawyer generally wins, but this isn’t some

Your statement here is completely asinine. It’s not illegal to swing my fist either, but if it hits someone, I’ve just committed battery.

Well, I can see in the video that he clearly lowers his shoulder prior to the impact. That’s a reaction. He could also have reacted, in that same amount of time, to sidestep or otherwise limit the impact. He did not. Your opinion is incorrect.

Your assumptions in this are faulty. As has been noted repeatedly, they didn’t just “bump into each other” - if they had, you would be correct that no real crime occurred. But in this instance, the player had enough time to react, and he reacted in a way that didn’t _just_ minimize harm to himself, it _maximized_ harm

Could he have avoided the collision? Maybe, maybe not; hard to say from that video, but ‘inconclusive’ generally goes to the defense. Did he intend to do harm? Clearly _yes_. If the player just bumped into the guy, it would be different (and there’s every reason to believe the fan’s injuries would have been notably

In the Niners’ defense, there are plenty of pro teams out there that suck dusty balls but still find a way to maintain a loyal fanbase. But the new stadium was moved miles away from any kind of fanbase SF might have once had, into someplace even snootier and more expensive than most of SF already is. There’s literally

But is she allowed to drive a car?

Why? Typically, it’s because their own lives are such disappointing, unsatisfying garbage fires that the only potential bright spot between now and the grave is control the lives of other people and making them even more miserable. That’s pretty much it.
