Not intentionally. Sometimes its cold enough (like at the temp I mentioned) for my windshield to re-ice driving at highway speeds in a snow storm.

At the temp I mentioned, windows can re-ice at highway speeds, despite having a warm engine and a defrost running full blast on hot. The heater in the car doesn’t always evenly heat the window, and this allows for cold patches to form, and they will grow.

I’d love to see this working in real time, at temps around 0F. That would be a fair enough assessment of its effectiveness. Any other criteria necessary for the test?

Loan Denied

Dorms are a helluva racket. The college I went to required that students live in the dorms for the first 2 years of attending if they were under 21. If you lived in the dorms, it was required to pay for a meal plan as well. (You could have this waived if you were still living with your parents)

This is not a very cost effective solution. The cans themselves are more expensive than most trash cans, and the bags are also significantly more expensive than their standardized counterparts. Plus, I only know of one store in my town that sells the bags, which would mean making a trek to a specific store every time…

Yah, we used to always lose our trash bags to the can, then we bought a slightly shorter can and our trash bags fit. I guess you could also buy slightly bigger bags, but at the time we got annoyed with the foot pedal style can.

Skip the rack for baking. The fat will render better in the oil. When you’re finished baking, you can put it on a rack to drain off excess oil.

This makes me sad.
