When she got her first DSLR, I had to explain to my overly enthusiastic wife that whipping it out in a restaurant and taking pictures of her food was a bit rude. Also, she didn't have the right lens for the job, the pictures would have been bad.
Fitting "my stuff" and "your stuff" in a big box is quite a challenge. I was lucky when my (eventual) wife and I first moved in that she didn't really have much stuff, so we didn't have a great deal of duplication of resources. Her ex took a lot of "their" stuff with him, and that worked out for the best. He had an…
Can you talk about how you decided to move where you inevitably moved to?
When I go on dates, I usually skip the bill. If she can't run fast enough and gets caught, she's obviously not my type.
Altered Beast was my favorite game as a kid. I never had a genesis, it made me sad.
I use a 2 liter bottle, chopped in half with the top upside down inside the bottom, a bit of apple cider vinegar and a drop of dish soap. When it seems to be losing effectiveness, I drop in another tbsp of apple cider vinegar, or dump the whole mess out and start over.
Of the one cat-based simulation I've played, this was the most accurate cat-based simulation I've ever played.
I agree and I can relate. It'll be some time before I can afford a couple bodies (and glass to match). Anticipating what you need and being prepared is a difficult adventure, which is precisely why pros compensate by hanging multiple cameras around their neck. They can afford to throw money at the problem. We,…
this is unsurprising... both of them were likely waiting for the other to announce. MS kept their hand closer to their chest and got the upper hand.
If you can't accept a job because of the pay, they deserve to know why.
I shed manly tears remembering all of the brave plants that had to die to make my dinner.
My local grocery store sells them for $4 a pound, compared to $1 a pound for other onions. I only spring for shallots for special things.
There is a big difference between them. I prefer sweet onions over yellow, but they aren't available at reasonable prices and in good quality for much of the year, so I use yellow onions when they are off-season. I feel it is a treat to have sweet onions because of the flavor they lend to the dish. I like seasonal…
I disagree with a few of these points.
Another great option is picking up a lens with a wide range. Nikon is soon to release a very compelling general purpose 18-140 f/3.5 lens which will serve a great majority of hobbyist photos and only costs $600 (I say only... that is a lot of money for a hobbyist, but pretty cheap for a lens).
Professional photographers carry multiple bodies when they need multiple lenses.
Personalized search results: your friends have bad taste in movies. You have bad taste in friends. The pokemon approach to facebook invalidates any usefulness that this could ever provide.
This makes a lot of sense to me. Take the competitive nature of gamers, add a well trained consumer mentality, and mix in the frustration of failing at a "simple" game easily leads to paying to win.
