@Steinin: Yep. Here in the UK, our internet stinks. I have friends who regulary get disconnected.. Hell, one of the guys from here came in to work today and said his internet went down 7pm GMT last night and didn't come back on all night.

This is absolutely terrible, especially here in the UK. I live in a rural area, although I'm really close to our exchange, but I know people who live out in the sticks, and this simply wouldn't work; the state of our internet is not ready for such measaures.
