I see what you did there. +1

It darn well should be in a game! A case can be made for it being the most important racecar of all time.

Way too cold! I hate winter, I always pit off any serious tinkering with the car when it's cold.

That's great.

Late one night in 1968, Colin Chapman, angered by the failure of his turbine car, sat tinkering in the garage at Hethel. It was nearing dawn, the sweat pouring off his brow, arms and mind strained to the limit. That day the time machine was born. Chapman used the device to visit the future, but was deeply saddened

Woah, woah, you mean Lincoln Futura. The Ford Futura was a sedan for Ford Australia. The Lincoln Futura was the masterpiece concept car that became the genesis of the batmobile.

Oh flugplatz. Not a cool move by RR.

Is it bad that my first thought when you said C6 was Citroen and not Corvette? ;)

Anyone who knows what VW named the Touareg after is either a gearhead or well read.

You think BMW codes through people off, try mentioning something like GMT900 to someone and see the puzzled look they give you. And I don't even like any of the GMT900 trucks, just happened to mention it once or twice!

Whoever built that model T should be knighted. That is incredible. Saw a pristine Model T in the park the other day while on a walk with my father and my dog. The owner had taken his 5 year old grandson out for a drive and pulled up by us. That man is most certainly a gearhead.

Very well said!

As someone who works in a sporting goods store that sells Weber grills, number 1. on your list made me smile like an idiot. Carbs over grills anyday.

I send you my very belated condolences. I hope things are looking up for you now!

Thank you! Sorry for the uber late response! Your miata must drive like a dream after all of that, congrats!

I've got an 02 NB2 and I too am following this same upgrade path! Only done the bar so far, but it's a comfort to hear others deciding on the same route and enjoying it!

Also, I'm digging the machals, that looks pretty good.

Is your car an 01 or early 02? If so it might suffer from the infamous clutch shudder. Mine is an early 02, I picked it up just a year ago and it sadly has the clutch shudder. In warm weather it's fine, but in cold weather it's nigh it's hard to get a smooth launch, it makes me a better driver, but eventually I'll be

I get mid 20's with the 1.8 in my NB, and up to 30 on the highway. Though that's decent, it did hurt switching to it from my old EG civic, I got it up to 45 a couple times, that was wonderful.
