I think any discussion about cars of high taste will eventually gravitate towards the top of the line French cars. So I nominate a French automobile for the most tasteful car:

It has got to be the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. It is amazingly beautiful, but not flashy. It has a great noise, but it isn't shouty. It's fast, but it doesn't get carried away.
