So... Serious movies are somehow inherently harder to make than funny ones? Because I think it's almost exactly the other way around.

There is both romance and comedy, but it's not a typical romantic comedy. The mental illness part is pretty front and center, and the movie is pretty damn good. And, last I checked, there's no rule that says Only Super Serious Movies Get Oscars.

Er.. Entomophagy (eating insects) is pretty central to the diet of many cultures.. We have most likely learned/decided to be squicky about it, no evolutionary basis. It's a great, easy, quick source of protein.
