Zoning is a way to keep people in a position for a heavy hitting follow up, not a move to use constantly to make the match easy as fuck.

So that’s why almost all competitive game groups have some sort of soft ban? Not an actual ban but a gentleman’s agreement not to use bullshit tactics?
You play to have fun. If you're sacrificing fun for victory by using cheap, annoying tactics like this, then you've missed the entire point of the game, and you should go find something else to do instead of ruining the experience for everyone else.
Thanks for the protip, Floyd Mayweather.
I think maybe you’re projecting my intention here. I don’t think Briggs is OP, and I do believe that learning how to counteract spam is a good move that any smart player will do. That doesn’t make watching someone do exactly that any less satisfying. I’m celebrating the fact someone overcame spam, not lamenting that…
Is Briggs infamous for spamming now? Curious.
Yeah sure, but this does not look like fun to me.
Fatalities are the go-to...which means that Mortal Kombat players have to get creative about how they want to send a message across. (Sort of, crouching up and down is the go-to for mockery in pretty much every video game).
I thought the point of this article was to delight in the glorious ass-whooping that the Kung Jin players lays on this spammer. That’s, like, the opposite of crying about it.
Even knowing the outcome, I started raging about halfway through that video. The ending though... So satisfying. So very very satisfying.
I think that argument only works if the player who got spammed here lost and whined about it. But they won.
That’s probably the most subtle and effective taunt there was, in this case (though I admit I was wanting a gory fatality after watching that opponent’s cheese).
I love sweet JUSTICE!
Cersei is D-U-M-M DUMM. She’s putting the power of the Crown into a religious order that is hell-bent on rooting out hypocrisy, materialism, and weird sex stuff. As “Hypocrisy, Materialism, and Weird Sex Stuff” are practically the Lannisters’ house words, Cersei: you in danger, girl!
For book readers:
Finding it fairly difficult to harvest any trace amounts of giving-a-shit towards this incident. I wonder why.... :/
I meant you tend to speak as if your opinion is the word on whatever subject is at hand.
I do see your point, but I was citing Gengorou Tagame specifically because he’s a gay artist making work for gay audiences. A subsection of them certainly, but his target demographic is quite clear.
that is the sexy way!
