I love Takeo’s parents. I judged them at face value and ate crow once they showed their colors in the show. Takeo’s personality (and looks) made much more sense, and I liked that. It made you feel that his family was real, unlike most anime

But Takeo has great qualities, and I would even venture to say this show reminded me a lot of School Rumble, except it wasn’t as painful when it came to love.
