Have you played FFXIV? It is seriously really good and you should. The game gives me renewed faith in Squenix, and I believe that the Squenix that makes FFXIV can make a FFVII remake that will do right by the original.

The original was never my favorite of the series, but I have to say, it would be nice if this remake would address various plot holes, and make consistent the piecemeal lore that Square has built up afterward. Perhaps they can even set up the basis for Advent Children, so that that movie feels more like a…
stripping out the humor and turning the RPG classic into an over-priced, thin series of episodes with streamlined levels and no world map.
That is true! I do. It certainly helps that we had hardcore, day-to-day real life issues for our first few years that he was amazing through. It kept us focused on what kind of people we each were in our hearts (beneath stupid partisanship) and very clear on what’s actually important in a life partner, and none of it…
get out.
Mr. Robot should win EVERYTHING!
Brie is on the list.
YES Rami Malek! SO glad to see him getting this recognition.
Yes, but he wasn’t always a rationale non-asshole when it comes to political things. It took me 10 years of thoughtful, tactical, gently applied logic at *just the right moments* to get his head out of his ass (+ Rs getting so blatant he couldn’t pretend it wasn’t there anymore), I’m exhausted! As far as him trying to…
They almost had him there along for the ride for a while. It was a close call, haha, but Good won out :)

My partner is...disinterested? might be the best term. He listens when I rant and rage about something political, and sometimes asks about stuff that’s happening in the media, but he’s largely unaware of most political issues.
My partner and I are not exactly aligned politically (he’s a libertarian and I am a liberal). The thing is, if you don’t believe in equality in the fundamental ways that the Republicans have time and again eschewed, you’re either a bad person or ignorant. There’s no way around it and religion doesn’t buy you a pass.
You guys can have political debates and no one has their feelings hurt? You guys are weird./sarcasm
He’s still “conservative” but agrees that “Republicans” are now bat-shit and doesn’t consider them really “conservatives” anymore.
I dont know maybe I am just to old for all the hate on sites like this. I thought the article was interesting so I clicked on it. The finding are in fact interesting, but then I get to the comment section and it is filled with such hate.
I married across the aisle big time. Can’t believe I did so, but I did. And it was HARD during our first election year together. Like, really hard. But over the years he’s calmed down a heck of a lot (while Repubs have gotten worse). He’s still “conservative” but agrees that “Republicans” are now bat-shit and doesn’t…
I question the conclusion that this means we’re growing more closed-minded.
Every reply here shows that close mindedness.
I would expect that part of the reason for this is because the parties have moved farther away from each other in terms of ideology. If I had a daughter and she married a staunch Republican, who identified as Republican in this current political climate, I’d have questions. Do your expectations line up as far as…
