I agree, I for one can't wait for the release of the Surface Pro. I want to get one sooo bad.

It's because the Start Menu was relocated and the look was changed. No functionality was removed, just improved and replaced. I've seen people ask why they didn't keep the start menu in Desktop and honestly, why would they keep redundant code when if you want program groups, simply use the All Apps button on the Start…
They are, Start IE10 from the desktop and you have Desktop IE10. Similar to if you started Chrome from the desktop rather than Metro. If you start IE from Metro, you get Metro IE just like you would Metro Chrome.
It's not that bad. It's actually faster than searching through the Start Menu's hundreds of program groups just to find one application (Yes, I use search often, I'm using the program groups as an counter-example.), Oolie Zool is actually spot on. It's not different in function, only in look and feel. All the…
The same list that takes forever to find what you want because you have to go through "scores/hundreds" of program groups (which is technically still there, right click a blank spot on the screen and hit All Apps, Voila [Which btw, also breaks down into a fairly organized list]). Honestly, the Windows 8 Start Screen…
At least they work to fix the problems. Also, this was a security breach, not a security vulnerability being exploited. Two different things there sir.
Not really, Opera acts as a Desktop Client. This allows it to not only be completely platform-independent, but independent of needing to download a client like BitTorrent or uTorrent, it will run in the browser.
This scares me..
I've seen some in a city up here in Ohio. xD
Not true at all, I know it's been a while since this page was relevant but the "Old Start Menu" still has it's folder of functional shortcuts. To access this in the Metro Start Screen, right click a part on the screen that has no tile and hit All Apps. Your start menu has arrived.
Jailbreaking does not cause that many problems, In fact it fixes a lot of them. I've never had problems with iOS at all when I had my iPod Jailbroken.
PayWave isn't vapor. My debit card supports it and I've used it at gas stations, It's pretty cool :)
Actually no, if they can't run on your phone you do not get a download button, you get a nice line across the top of the screen saying "This app is incompatible with your device.". Secondly, Microsoft does have an App Store for Windows 8 and they DO control it. All phones may have access to the Android Market, but…
Your comment convinces me that you know nothing of what you are saying. Apple's Messages application DOES support Jabber which Facebook Chat uses as well. You can easily goto the Help page for Facebook Chat and it gives instructions on how to connect using a Jabber Client.
How does the post with Foxconn have anything to do with this post? Yes, they do have the right to block Siri from older devices, However there will always be someone who makes it work on those blocked devices. There is a Hacker saying btw, "We do it because we can.", that applies to programmers, modders, etc as well.
Agreed, accidentally clicked on the Add as friend instead of reply. But ya, their not just script-kiddies with a DDOS, they DO usually replace entire sites with their mission statement.
I had an PC that I decided to mess with Win3.1 on around that time as well..
I must disagree, BSODs are caused by Hardware and Software issues. They can be anything from a bad driver to a bad device and even a unsupported Kernel hook. Windows 95/98 even BSOD'd when you tried to CD C:\con\con :D
I'd be assuming that IT departments could still deploy the OS through OS X Server's NetInstall option.
I took your mold and named it Fred, we converse every so often :D
