The option is already gone.

The “How do I create a PokeStop/Gym” option is no longer available on the form.

Back when I had my MKIV VW, I was chatting with a chick on AOL IM (Yeah, it was a while back) who had a Jetta. She started telling me about her Supra that she recently sold ...

I actually did some testing on this a while back when I was tuning a lot more. I mainly focused on Evos, but tuned a few NA Lancers as well. I did some testing on one guy’s car to settle this argument.

The problem I always see with interpretation of these laws is in the wording “slower than traffic.” If I’m in the left lane moving faster than multiple cars on the right, that’s the “traffic.” If one or two cars behind want to go faster than me, they are the minority and not substantial “traffic.”

They are easy to slip off when driving.

For sure. The horn was damaged on mine when I got it. Went ahead and upgraded to a dual tone unit and made damn sure it worked!

When I got my bike, the PA (previous abuser) had already mounted a fender delete, screwed $5 aux lights in to the rear plastics ... oh, and painted over them to boot. The wiring was a total hack job. I had little choice but to fit an integrated taillight on it. It’s been okay so far.

GIF all the things.

The Audi SUVs have an odd system for traction control and off-road modes. On my Q7, it took a read through the manual to realize you have to disable the TC to engage the off-road mode, which makes the diffs work completely differently. It's a completely different vehicle with TC off in loose conditions.

The late model Lancer Evolution models (8 and 9 at least) have thinner glass in the windshield compared to the base model Lancer. I want to say it's something like 0.3mm thinner. Not a big difference, but cool to see that level of detail on an affordable performance car.

Years back I stumbled across a Vector in a small sports car dealer in Atlanta. I only knew about it from Gran Turismo. I had no idea what was in it, but it was the coolest car I'd ever seen in person.

Great write up Raph. Dirty Beetles are the best Beetles.

Sounds like a new SE model like they did with the IX. Just an appearance package and maybe a special color option (a-la IX MR in Black). That's my bet.

The standard Evo X always had the 5-speed manual, as the GSR always has. The "higher end" has the flappy-paddles and a 6-speed.

People say it's a bad transmission, and yes, without proper cooling and heavy track use, 4th gear can fail. But my 6-speed has been fine and I've been pushing 400 whp on E85 for years now. I track occasionally and it's been my autocross/daily car since 2007. I love my 6-speed for street driving and having a useful 5th

I don't generally read manuals, but newer cars are just a different world. I recently picked up a '11 Audi Q7 and its the first car I've actually read the manual for. This was required to simply change the dash display. But, reading further in, I learned how the off-road traction control works, specific specs for

The arm on the sill thing reminds me of a novice autocrosser I was instructing once. He and his mom came out to race their Mini Cooper Clubman S. I think the kid was maybe 16, but he would let go of the wheel and grab the door to brace himself in every corner. It was terrifying.

Level crossings.

What is the giant yellow thing behind the wheel? Too big to be a caliper, and the perspective doesn't look like it's the inner wheel barrel in yellow.
