Not a bad list, but the tire pressure gauge pictured is the worst option. Spending $10 or so on a basic digital or analog dial gauge is completely worth it.

I've gotten the horn in first place several times. It seems to be more common when you lead the entire race. I usually get coins, then bananas and the horn the least often when in first.

Many existing games get things right, like mechanical failures and realistic damage that affects how the car performs. But, the one thing I haven't seen in ANY sim is a realistic emergency vehicle system. No game throws a double yellow and puts a tow truck on course to pick someone out of the gravel.
