The interior has always been the downside of the Corvette. Doug Demuro recently covered it in a YouTube video, but my old 2002 Z06 was... a bit like a 1999 Chevy Cavalier on the inside.

It’s basically the perfect performance car at $60k, so of course people are going to find something wrong with it...

Yup. Didn’t take long either. Maybe I should sell stocks instead..

If they add a manual there is no reason.  If you really want a manual, get a C7 because I’d hazard a guess prices are going to plummet.

It’s basically the NSX sans hybrid tech that people asked for - so NSX sales are boned, too.

Oh I got rid of it ages ago (loved it), but I always figured that was the absolute lowest any serious performance mid-engine vehicle would go.

Under $60k, just wow.

Did you hear him (Reuss/Tadge) say all the buttons are actually ALUMINUM?!?

I legit laughed out loud in disbelief. Chevy really isn’t fucking around.

Just confirmed that base price will be below $60,000 and that model will be capable of 0-60 in less than 3 seconds.  Pretty impressive.

Imagine buying literally any other sports car for $60,000 lmao

Starting price at less than $60k.... Consider the game changed.

Well compared to its competition it is “cheap”.

The most exotic looking and performing thing you can get for the money, the other choices are sedan based German numerical mumbo jumbo or a VW Beetle cousin but motheruckers are actually crying about it’s looks....unreal.

Why wouldn’t they? It’s not like the the C7 is any less bespoke than this is. Outside of the LT1 what does it share with any other GM product? Mid engine isn’t inherently more expensive than front engine. That’s why the $100K speculation has never made a bit of sense to me.

Well, doesn’t that look pretty damn good.

58 year old here (40 days from 59). I plan to stay up and watch.

The first generation Subaru Legacy had a row of buttons for the HVAC position settings. At first, I thought it was an uncharacteristic ergonomic disaster, but damned if I couldn’t reach out my finger without looking and hit the one I wanted every single time.
