Y’all should do a best of of all time. I love to read these and all the comments but these 10 are pretty meh compared to a lot of past submissions.

Why the hell is “Strange Living Room” on here? Nothing remotelt scary, spooky, etc, happens. It isnt even tangentially a scary story. Interesting, sure. But it sure as hell doesnt belong on a Halloween scary story list.

Yes! The one about the kid asking for a ride home? 

These are cool, but that gas station kid from a few years ago jumps to the front of my brain around this time every year. Only now he’s slightly older but still the same size, feet darker and smokes cigarettes butts thrown out of car windows on the highway.

It’s not much and probably just a dream I had as a kid. But I was convinced for years this was real.

I work in a place that’s supposedly haunted as hell (if you watch any “true” ghost shows on TV-Celebrity Ghost Stories, etc, it’s been featured there quite a few times-you’ve seen it before).

Aw man I’m not bummed and glad there aren’t many “real life” scares this year. Those are always way scarier for me than the "got a bad feeling and later learned this house had something happen here" stories, but then again I'm also glad fewer people are being traumatized by like, the scary landlord creeping in through…

That one was really good.  A good story all around.  

My favorite one from this year was the “time rub” story, where the author’s grandmother saw her friends, from the future, in her living room during a bad electrical storm. Her friends (in the present day) saw her grandmother, from the past, where her living room used to be at the old farm ruins.

Oooo this is wonderful. One quick note, I wrote ghost girl and it looks like the handle is a little off. I’m “Notyourstolove” rather than “notyourlostlove.” Thank you!
